  2. My brand's voice is friendly, approachable, and creative because I want my customers to feel like they can come to me with any idea, no matter how big or small. I want them to feel like I'm someone who can help them bring their vision to life. I want my brand's voice to be warm and inviting, like a warm cup of tea on a cold day made with one of my Handmade Custom Mugs. I want my customers to feel like they can trust me to create something special for them, something that they'll cherish for years to come. I also want my brand's voice to be creative. I want to show my customers that I'm not afraid to think outside the box and come up with new and innovative ideas , i have made some personalised things in my time some quite funny some quite strange lol. I want them to know that I'm always looking for new ways to make their gifts even more special. I believe that my brand's voice is a reflection of my own personality. I'm a friendly, approachable, and creative person, and I want my brand to reflect that. I want my customers to feel like they're talking to a friend when they interact with my brand , any messages and quieres are answered straight away which also puts my customer at ease, and I want them to feel inspired by my creativity as most of my customers tell me what they want and leave me to it and use my own inspiration to create a pesronalised item just for them. 3. My logo is a sheep with a retro-inspired design. The sheep is made up of simple shapes and colors, and it has a friendly, approachable look. The colors are a nod to my Welsh heritage, and the overall design is meant to convey the creativity and craftsmanship of my business. I spent a lot of time working on the logo, and I wanted it to be something that I was really proud of. I wanted it to be simple, but also memorable and eye-catching. I also wanted it to reflect the values of my business, which are creativity, craftsmanship, and personalization. I'm really happy with the way the logo turned out, and I think it's a great representation of my brand Retrosheep. It's a part of my identity, and I'm proud to use it to represent my business. Here's a little bit about how the logo came about: I started by brainstorming a bunch of different ideas many years ago. I wanted to come up with something that was unique and memorable, but also simple and easy to remember. I also wanted it to be something that would appeal to my target audience, which is people who are looking for personalized gifts. After a lot of brainstorming, I came up with the idea of using a sheep. Sheep are seen as being gentle, friendly, and creative creatures. They're also associated with Wales, which is where I'm from. I thought that a sheep would be a perfect symbol for my business, and I started to sketch out some ideas and came up with Retrosheep as i started off making handmade Knitted Socks and Hats so my main brand started as knitwear. Once I had a few sketches that I liked, I started to refine the design. I wanted to make sure that the logo was simple, but also memorable and eye-catching. I also wanted it to be something that could be used in a variety of different contexts, from my website to my social media profiles. After a lot of refinement, I came up with the final latest design. I'm really happy with the way it turned out, and I think it's a great representation of my brand. I hope you like it! 4. I've always been a creative person, and I've always loved making things. I remember when I was a child, I would spend hours in my dad's workshop, making all sorts of things from wood, metal, and other materials. I loved the feeling of taking something from an idea in my head and turning it into a real, tangible object. As I got older, I started to think about how I could turn my love of making things into a career. I knew that I didn't want to work in a traditional office job, so I started to explore the idea of starting my own business. I did a lot of research, and I eventually decided to focus on personalised gifts. I loved the idea of being able to create something unique and special for each of my customers. I also knew that there was a growing demand for personalised gifts, so I felt like I was onto something. I started Retrosheep.com in 2003, and I've been loving it ever since. I get to work with all sorts of different people, and I get to create all sorts of amazing things. I'm so grateful that I was able to turn my passion into a career, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for Retrosheep. What advice would I give to someone who wants to start their own business? If you're thinking about starting your own business, here are a few pieces of advice that I would give you: Do your research. Before you do anything else, you need to do your research and make sure that there's a market for your product or service. You also need to understand the financial and legal implications of starting a business. Be passionate about your product or service. If you're not passionate about what you're doing, it will be very difficult to succeed. You need to be able to stay motivated even when things get tough. Be prepared to work hard. Starting a business is a lot of work. You'll need to be prepared to put in long hours and make sacrifices. Don't give up. There will be times when you want to give up. But if you're truly passionate about your business, you'll find a way to keep going. If you're looking for a unique and personalised gift, be sure to check out my website at Retrosheep.com . 5. Hi everyone πŸ‘‹ , My name is Cher from Retrosheep.com , πŸ‘ and I'm a Welsh craftswoman based in Blackwood, Gwent. I've been making custom-made gifts for over 20 years, including personalised jewellery, clothing, homewares, and more. I also offer laser engraving and 3D printing services. I'm excited to be joining the Online Sellers club and to learn from other business owners in the Squarespace community. I'm particularly interested in learning how to use Squarespace to create a successful online store. I recently moved my website from WordPress to Squarespace, and I'm still learning the ropes. However, I'm really enjoying the platform so far, and I'm already seeing some great results. My customers are my number one priority, and I always strive to provide them with the best possible experience. I use only the finest materials and craftsmanship, and I'm always looking for new ways to improve my products and services.
