  1. In 7.1, if you click on a tag or author name, you basically see the exact same page as the parent collection page but with the filtered results. Unlike 7.0, there is no visual indicator (i.e. text) to tell you what exactly changed and how your results were filtered. Am I missing something or is there a way to display how exactly you filtered, such as with a "Filtered by tag XXX" in 7.1?
  2. Hey everyone, My site publishes work from both artists and writers. I'd like to be able to use the author metadata capabilities so that a reader can view all the work by a particular contributor. The issue I'm having is that I can't seem to figure out how to remove the "Written by" text before an author's name on a blog post in 7.1. Does anyone have any css tips and tricks that might be able to help me out? Thank you!!!
  3. Site URL: https://oneearthrising.com/games/paraiso-island Hi folks, I use the regular blog page for my news blog (all good there). In addition, I use the same blog layout of the template for our 'Games' page (overview of the games we have published). For the latter, I would like to hide the author profile for obvious reasons as it is rather a product information page than an a blog page and doesn't need an author. However, if I changed the setting to hide the author profile on this Games 'blog' page, it also hides it for the official News blog (where I would like to keep it). I'm sure there is a CSS solution for it that I can implement into the Games blog page code injection section. Would be great if someone could help me. Thank you.
  4. Does anyone know how to remove the author link at the bottom of a post in Skye? I still want to leave the author profile in the sidebar. Pic attached for reference. Thank you!
  5. Hi Everyone, Is it possible to change the Author Name in blog posts for a Pseudonym? My client has an artists name that they want to use as the author of blog posts, not the name on their account. Is this possible to do? I know that I can remove the Author name using the Style section but it would be really useful if they could use their artists name of Phat Geezer instead just for blog posts? Many thanks in advance :0)
  6. The Wells template automatically hides the author of a blog post site-wide. However, I would like to display the author within each blog post, preferably using CSS instead of a summary block. I'm struggling to figure out how to target the author metatag in the Wells template to display it in each blog post. (There is also no option to tweak this in Site Styles.) For reference, my website is https://www.theoryhousecreative.com.
  7. Hi! I was wondering if there ir any way I can alter the Bedford template so that it automatically displays author names and bios at the end of blog posts, similarly to how the Tudor template, for instance, does. And if there is, how complex is it? I am very new to coding. Thank you!
  8. Hi smart people! First time using SS, and needing to add in a 'read more' button as there are a lot of large bodies of text throughout one page. Its a podcast page and all of the text is relevant, it just makes the page rather cumbersome and messy - any help would be enormously appreciated!!!
  9. I've read through other posts that there should be an option to "Hide Entry Author" but I can't find this option for the life of me. I'm scared to use a CSS code to override this as I don't want to do it wrong or enter a faulty code and have it break my site. I also tried to add a basic author and make their name blank but I have to have some symbol or letter for that author's name so it doesn't completely remove the author's name through that way. Any advice? I'm using Wexley version 7. Thanks!
  10. Our company blog seem to be an issue with Google as we keep getting the warning "Indexed, though blocked by robots.txt" It shows the blog URL as https://dubbe-moulder.com/blog?author=596e6c8e197aeafa12b48f11 and I don't understand the part after the /blog slug since it should stop at that. I've done research and it seems that I should just ignore this issue, but I wonder if it's not affecting our rankings. As an added note, all blog posts are set under the company name for "Author". Can anyone clarify this for me, or if there is a way to fix this? Thank you.
  11. I can't get the blog author name to show up on my Impact templat blogs.
  12. I want to modify the style of the author profile that displays on my blog posts in the Skye template. The built in style setting allows you to hide this section or move it to the sidebar or below the post. Iā€™d like to change the background color of the container from gray to white.
