    Squarespace stores the settings in a data-props attribute, and it seems that if you can get to that and update it then the timer for the slideshow does appear to honour it. It's possible that there's a race-condition going on here, but I've tested it and it worked on my 7.1.
    You'd need business/premium to do it because we're changing an attribute with javascript. put this in the page header code injection (Advanced in the pages Settings):
    <script> document.addEventListener("DOMContentLoaded",function () { const slide = document.querySelector(".gallery-fullscreen-slideshow"); const att = slide.getAttribute("data-props"); const attJSON = JSON.parse(att); attJSON["slideDurationMs"]=20000; slide.setAttribute("data-props",JSON.stringify(attJSON)); }); </script> waits for the document to load all its content finds the first fullscreen gallery slideshow in the page gets its data-props attribute and changes the sub-property of slide duration (in milliseconds, so 20seconds = 20000) update the attribute Give it a try!

    Hi. I just checked & found svg file url doesn't exist. If your site is trial, maybe some upload files won't work.
    If your plan is paid, let me know, we will check it again.

    With code in Custom CSS, you need to use full image url
    the code should be
    /* Hide the normal logo */ .header-title-logo img, .header-mobile-logo img { visibility: hidden !important; } /* Set background image to be the SVG logo */ .header-title-logo a, .header-mobile-logo a{ /* Change the "left" below to "center" or "right" if you want the logo positioned in the middle or on the right */ background: url("https://claridgemedia1.squarespace.com/s/Claridge-Media-Wenatchee-Web-Designer-Drone-Photography-Video.svg") no-repeat left !important; background-size: contain !important; .Mobile-bar-branding-logo { background-repeat: no-repeat; background-image: url("https://claridgemedia1.squarespace.com/s/Claridge-Media-Wenatchee-Web-Designer-Drone-Photography-Video.svg"); } }

    @jessone no more summary blocks in the checkout custom form. Squarespace doesn't want us making money

    helloVlad reacted to dombomb in Editing font style on single word in Image Gallery Heading. Can it be done?
    Oooooo that's right! Didn't think of that. 🤣
    For anyone following, here's the solution to the above.
    Open up the gallery where the text is you want to change. Selected the photo in the gallery where the title is applied. In the Title field, find the word you want to change and enter the code below:
    <span style="font-style:italic"> conscious </span> }
    Hope this helps someone else!

    helloVlad reacted to Wolfsilon in How to replace logo with SVG 7.1?
    Hello there!
    I tried testing the code on my own site, which is a 7.0 website. The CSS selectors vary only slightly (".header-branding-logo...") but I was still able to replicate the problem. Try these different possible solutions.
    1) Use the full url for the background image SVG.
    2) Upload a transparent .png file for the logo and use your code to overlay the .svg.
    For me, the code you shared effectively removes the logo "block/container" entirely. If you were to add the visibility option back, you might see your SVG.
    3) Try adding the full code with selectors instead of "...no-repeat left center".
    .header-title-logo a { background-image: url(https://example/svg/file/blah/blah.svg); background-size: contain; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: center center; } You mentioned you've used this code before and that it works. Sometimes Squarespace is picky about which selectors you can use for different sections, pages, or elements.
    If none of these work, could you please share a url and visitor password so I can take a closer look.

    Thank you Jen! Hope these help.

    helloVlad reacted to paul2009 in After recent 7.0 and 7.1 updates, I'm no longer to add multiple tags or categories to summary blocks
    This is the result of the Block Editor UI update that was rolled out without warning on 3rd February 2021. Prior to this update, you could manually enter multiple tags separated by commas on anything other than Squarespace 7.1 Store content. Unfortunately, the new Block Editor has a dropdown control instead of a textbox and it is now only possible to select one category (or tag).
    Squarespace overcame many of the new UI limitations by issuing an update on 14 February, but this particular issue was not resolved in this update. I agree with @digitalfreelancer that this is extremely irritating and look forward to this being fixed in the near future. You can voice your concerns to the Product team by logging a ticket here.
    For information, the Summary Block Editor UI is shown below, before and after the update (Feb 2021):

    See the update. The ability to add multiple tags was restored.

    helloVlad reacted to JamesLD in Subscription Products Advice
    Unfortunately Bradley the silence speaks volumes - it's simply not possible to achieve any level of depth with the subscriptions offered by SquareSpace. It's bare bones functionality and from what I can gather through extensive reading and research, it has been like this from the start. Despite numerous requests from customers either here in the forums or directly via support requests, and promises of requests being passed to the new features development team, it seems that commerce is not going to be SquareSpace's focus.
    We've had a look at a number of possible workarounds using SquareSpace and outside code or payment providers but they're all a fudge and would not scale well with our business. I think we have to face facts and recognise that whilst SquareSpace has a lot to offer when starting out (ease of use, nice design), if you want to scale commercially you are at some point going to need to look at the alternatives who have built platforms from the ground up with ecommerce in mind. On that basis we are now actively looking at migrating over to Shopify which has a massive range of ecommerce apps to meet our subscription needs as well as many other features which should really be part of a SquareSpace's basic commerce offering.
    I should add that I have had a support reply about this and in essence they've given up on me as a customer (it feels like) by saying we don't support what you need and understand if you want to leave - there's literally not attempt at retention or solutions being offered which suggests to me that they are not planning to add the features I need which is most disappointing. I am yet to see any feature request put through on this forum or directly via support over the years come through as an addition to the platform.
