  1. I guess I'm alone in customers really wanting the ability to AirPlay or cast. Does anyone know if there's code we could add to our website so that all the videos hosted on Squarespace are castable? When I try to just screen mirror from my iPhone, the video gets blocked on my Mac (see below) and my FireTV gives me an error that it can't play a DRM file. Perhaps there's a way to stop Squarespace from blocking videos hosted on their site from being castable? Here's my website: https://dumb-industries.com
  2. I'm interested in going all-in on Squarespace's unlimited video storage for all of my website's content, but the only thing holding me back is Squarespace's video player. It's a great speedy and reliable player but it's missing several features that could greatly benefit the user experience. The main feature missing is the ability to AirPlay or Cast the videos. This feature is a dealbreaker for many of my customers because they would much rather watch content on their TV's rather than their laptops or phones. We've resorted to urging customers to invest in an HDMI cable, but this is obviously a huge hurdle for the average viewer. Another feature is the ability to upload and display captions. This is imperative not only for accessibility but also because a lot of viewers use captions whether or not they actually need them to enjoy the video. I would also love to be able to add chapter markers to videos. Any idea if these features are being worked on or a timeline on when we can expect an update on the video player? We are sitting on gold with growing our membership programs, but these missing features are holding us back. Would love to see some updates before year end. Thank you!
  3. I'm going insane trying to figure out how to have my Twitch channel embedded with chat on my website, but have it be a responsive embed. Here is where I've got it embedded: https://dumb-industries.com/dumb247 Here's the code I'm using in the Code block, which all works completely fine, but if I set width or height to "100%" the embed stops working altogether. I currently have it set to 1400 width, which is the same width of the website. But if you view it on mobile, you just see a gigantic Twitch window. <html> <body> <!-- Add a placeholder for the Twitch embed --> <div id="twitch-embed"></div> <!-- Load the Twitch embed JavaScript file --> <script src="https://embed.twitch.tv/embed/v1.js"></script> <!-- Create a Twitch.Embed object that will render within the "twitch-embed" element --> <script type="text/javascript"> new Twitch.Embed("twitch-embed", { width: 1400, height: 720, channel: "dumbindustries", // Only needed if this page is going to be embedded on other websites parent: ["dumb-industries.squarespace.com", "dumb-industries.com"] }); </script> </body> </html> I know there's likely some Custom CSS that needs to be added to make it work, but everything I've tried doesn't work. I am not a coder by any means so any help would be so greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!
  4. This needs to be fixed. Like ASAP. Meta can't warn everyone that we have start including checkout on FB or IG because checkout on our own websites will soon no longer be supported and then not give us a way to fulfill orders. What the hell??
  5. This is ridiculous. How can this not be fixed? So a customer accidentally enters a typo on their email address and there's nothing that can be done after that? I might have to move to a new platform just because of this.
