  1. @Collaborada - I get where you are coming from now ... Settings > Marketing > SEO Appearance > Half way down page SEO Appearance: HOME PAGE ITEMS - changed from %p to %I and it worked.... Many thanks
  2. @Collaborada - I have implemented "% lowercase I" on the meta title for the Portfolio > Kinauld Farm page and it calls up " I Alexander Philip Architect" on the SEO panel when in the Kinauld Farm page and the html doesn't change. That's not what I want .... Anyway, the software won't know what the title is if I don't specifically tell it in the box that it gives me the option to do so....? I think it is an error at the software engineer side - they are not calling in the right line to render in the html code.... How can that be fixed?
  3. Thanks @Collaborada Squarespace gives the option to add specific meta titles to each page which is what I have done - but it is not then rendering this content in the HTML pages. If I use %I - then, I think it would theoretical duplicate the Portfolio page meta title (landing page) as it is doing at the moment. Is there somewhere that defines the %I / %s options? Thanks PS I don't have a problem with the meta descriptions - they are rendering correctly I.e. a different description for each page.
  4. Title for the page you requested is as follows: SEO TITLE (OPTIONAL) Kinauld Farm New Build Family House Description: A new build family house designed by Alexander Philip architect. An attractive riverside setting located on the outskirts of Edinburgh. View photos of the finished project. But showing Residential Architect Edinburgh | Alexander Philip architect ????
  5. If you view source - you will see that the titles of the portfolio sub pages are all the same which they shouldn't be!
  6. I thought I had done it when I originally built the website (2022) but I noticed that it wasn't working properly last year (September ish 2023) and made a change which I thought had worked, but it looks as if it is still not working ....any suggestions on how to fix ? Yes, all index pages were input for the subpages at the outset and perhaps tweaked last September....thanks
  7. Meta titles on all subpages in the Portfolio section of my website are returning : Residential Architect Edinburgh | Alexander Philip architect despite the meta title for https://www.alexanderphilip.com/portfolio/kinauld-farm-currie actually reading: Kinauld Farm New Build Family House | Alexander Philip architect? All the Portfolio sub pages are returning the Portfolio SEO meta title wrongly but the correct meta descriptions. How can I display the text that I have input into Squarespace for each of those pages? This is having and has had a detrimental effect on my website since I set it up. Thanks [NB This has NOTHING to do with Google!]
  8. Found the answer.... Settings > Advanced > Code injection! 👍🏻
  9. At the foot of the webpage is the copyright details held in a container... I built this in 2021 and can't see now how to update © 2021 Alexander Philip architect to © 2022 Alexander Philip architect ? Any suggestions? Thanks - see code below for clarity.... <div id="container"> <div id="left"> <h4 style="font-size:1em">© 2021 Alexander Philip architect </h4> </div> <div id="center"> <img class="logo" src="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/605382fc4dd84e6ae1d8863a/t/60a127d6ce15a13eb8328822/1621174231294/Edinburgh-Architect-Scotland.png" alt="Alexander Philip Architect is a member of RIBA, RIAS & ARB" title="Alexander Philip Architect is a member of RIBA, RIAS & ARB"> </div> <div id="right"> <h4 style="font-size:1em"> <a href="/home">home</a> | <a href="/portfolio">portfolio</a> | <a href="/about">about</a> | <a href="/contact">contact</a> | <a href="/privacy-policy">privacy</a> </h4> </div> </div> <h4 id="copyright">© 2021 Alexander Philip architect </h4> <p id="privacy"> <a href="/privacy-policy">privacy</a> </p>
  10. OK thanks @tuanphan but I would also like to include the footer and tried your code plus: /* Homepage no scroll */ body.homepage article section:first-child { padding-top: 0 !important; } body.homepage { overflow: hidden; } footer.sections.homepage { display: block;} But didn't work - obviously, the footer reference is incorrect as your part of the code works... Any suggestions? Thanks again
  11. Thanks @tuanphan but that doesn't work .... I'd like the thumbnails to be static and when you click them the choose image is show in the big box above.... Thanks
  12. Thanks @tuanphan but it is ONLY the homepage (https://daisy-tarpon-72er.squarespace.com) that I want to have NO SCROLLING. See the image below for confirmation of which is the homepage ⤵️ Thanks
  13. Site URL: https://daisy-tarpon-72er.squarespace.com/portfolio/new-build I'd like the home page of this site to include the header, body and footer on one screen whether the user is on a desktop (any size) or tablet (any size). How can I do this? Also, I am trying to left justify the footer text © 2021 Alexander Philip architect and right justify the menu text and perhaps add some small images in the middle. On desktop the text appears to be centred for some reason - perhaps just an inherited feature? Am I better to create three sections and then tell them to sit side by side? Any help would be appreciated... Thanks pw Help123
  14. Site URL: https://daisy-tarpon-72er.squarespace.com/portfolio/new-build I would like the thumbnails on the portfolio sub-page slideshow:simple to remain static. It currently moves the selected thumbnail image to the centre which is quite annoying...Is this stop-able? Try the page link above for an example of what is happening... PW Help123 Thanks
