  1. The date overlay covers part of my event graphic and I'm looking for a way to either make it 50% transparent or move it about the image instead of on top of it, or some other solution. Does anyone have a workaround? See screen shot please.
  2. Site URL: http://www.burnthoneybakery.com.au I own a bakery and would like to set up online ordering for bread and pastries with pickup date and time required to place the order. However, we're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and not all breads and pastries are available every day so I'd like to add parameters to the order form to prevent customers from ordering items on days they're not available, from selecting a pickup time outside our trading hours, and preventing them from ordering within 48 hours of the pickup time. Is this possible with squarespace ecommerce? I'd also like to do the same for a bread subscription option.
  3. Hi The internal calendar in Acuity displays days that are busy with a circle around the date in the calendar - see screenshot attached. Is there any way to apply this to dates that are free with custom CSS, or at least highlight the days that are bookable better as customers are missing available days as the current display is quite faint (we have older customers) We are on the powerhouse plan so are able to edit I have made the fonts orange for now - but is not perfect booking link is here https://menodoctor.com/pages/bookings
  4. Site URL: http://www.snakegoddess.com Hi all, On my website http://www.snakegoddess.com on the single blog post page the date say Mar 20. I want it to say Mar 20, 2020 How can I change this?
  5. Hi all, I am trying to center my blogpost. Does anyone have a custom CCS or code for the code injector I can use? Additionally, is there code I can use for removing the date of the blogpost? This help would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
  6. Hi @paul2009 Im looking to see if the dates for my blog posts throughout the site (in summary blocks, blog pages and individual blog posts) can read "1 day ago" or "5 days ago" or "1 month ago" instead of showing the actual date of the post. Is this possible? Website: http://www.fromyourmuse.com Password: musings2
  7. I can't seem to change or get rid of the "5/28/19" date which appears at the top of each blog entry. For context, I just launched this site and wanted to document some past events. I think I got stuck with the 5/28/19 date on everything because I overwrote the sample blog posts in the template, rather than creating new ones. I would be fine to simply manually change the dates so that they correspond to the events in the blog post, but cannot figure out where that edit option is. I have also tried toggling off the "Show Date" option, and going into the "META" section and changing the 'Secondary Meta Data' from "Date" to None. Whenever I'm in edit mode and try to make that change, it doesn't stick and the date immediately reappears. https://www.soulfangband.com/news Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
  8. Hello, I would like to remove the date from the individual posts for my site. There is 15. I have tried with some code but it doesn't seem to work, could it be a template reason? I was able to remove dates from the blog page https://www.incahoots.com.au/blog Thanks in advance!
  9. I would like to add a "Last updated on" date to blog posts. I think either of these solutions would work for me: Showing both the original published date and the updated date or Showing only "Last updated on" date What would be the most efficient way to do this?
  10. Hello, I want to remove the date from individual posts. I have removed the dates from the blog landing page. https://www.incahoots.com.au/blog Would you be able to please advise what css code to use to remove date from the 15 posts? Thank you in advance!
  11. How do you remove the date from a set of Videos page? The page is in the making so not accessible yet, but I'm attaching a screenshot. I assume a piece of CSS code would do, and if so, would any of you, coding experts, have one I can add in Custom CSS? Thank you.
  12. The post date shows Nov 9, the date I began to compose the post, despite both the actual pub date and the post URL both saying Nov 10. Yes, the Language & Region settings are correct.

Add the following codes to Home > Settings > Advanced > Code Injection <!-- Fix inconsistent blog date format on Squarespace 7.1 template --> <!-- Squarespace Forum Update 06-11-2021 --> <script src="https://stevenlevithan.com/assets/misc/date.format.js"></script> <script> (function(){ document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', function() { const dateformat = "dd-mm-yyyy"; const pubdates = document.querySelectorAll("time[datetime]:not([class*=event-time]), time[pubdate], time.blog-meta-item--date"); pubdates.forEach(pubDate => { let d = new Date(pubDate.getAttribute("datetime") || pubDate.innerText); if (pubDate.classList.contains('blog-meta-item--date') ) { d = new Date(document.querySelector('[itemprop="datePublished"]').getAttribute('content').split("T")[0]); } pubDate.innerHTML = d.format(dateformat); }); }); })(); </script> 2. Change the 'dateformat' in my previous code with the date format you want to apply. Ex: dd-mm-yyy, mmm-dd-yyyy,... Hope that it can help your sites properly Let me know if you have any issue that needs to be solved. Support me by pressing 👍 if this useful for you
  14. I'm surprised that changing country in the region settings for a site keeps the default US date and time format. Are there any plans to add custom date formats or to adhere to the international ISO 8601 standard for date and time? Not being able to use YYYY-MM-DD for dates or 24 hour time format without AM/PM is currently a no-go for transferring or creating Swedish sites to Squarespace. Is there a hidden solution to this anywhere that I have missed?
  15. Site URL: https://www.portagebay.com/blog/2022/09/17/video-jeremy-brown-all-the-javascript-we-can-do-in-filemaker Hi all, I'd like to add the date to an individual blog post on bedford in 7.0.. I am not seeing that option anywhere and suspect Ill need to add a bit of css magic! Anybody? This is not the blog entry in the summary block / blog page- it exists there. Im looking to add to the actual blog post. Thanks much for your insights! edit: this is for all posts, not just the one!!
  16. I am looking for a way to change the format of the date in the events listings page to date/month instead of month/date. Any advice? >>> : https://haebse.squarespace.com/ PW:Haebse2022
  17. We are trying to and need to have the year after the date in a blog post. We are using the Skye Template. For example, the date just shows "Oct 2" how do we get it to display "Oct 2, 2019"?
  18. Site URL: https://www.samuelrauschenberger.com/ Hi there, I'm trying to make a gallery with different images but they should all only show ina certain time frame. I've read that you can use code to hide an image (e.g. for a certain language) and was wondering if that would be possible too for a certain time and date. Thanks for any help, Samuel Edit: This is the code I was talking about: #collection-5e8106fd14477f68e75da0f8 #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1592925794450_25638:lang(en) { display: none; } #collection-5e8106fd14477f68e75da0f8 #yui_3_17_2_1_1592934809003_162:lang(ko) { display: none; }
  19. I'm working on a blog for a client and they'd like to have the blog post date displayed in a certain format on the blog page and blog post page. Unless I'm blind, I don't see any format/display options for dates. On the blog page itself, dates are showing up like this: 03/04/20, and on the actual blog post, the date shows up like this: Mar 4. I'd love to see ability to control date formatting (numbers, month names, hide year, show year, change the delimiters, etc). At the very least, be consistent across pages!
  20. Site URL: https://noahlangphotography.com/blog/ I already have my meta data date turned off for all my posts, but how can the date be hidden from Google as well. It seems like a number of other people have the same question, but on different posts, so I thought I'd bring it up again. This date in the image attached is what I'm referencing, and I think other people are too. Thanks!
  21. Site URL: http://clarkandgreendemo.squarespace.com/?password=clarkgreen My client has multiple blog pages on their website to organize their portfolio and a regular blog page (it's a SQSP 7 Brine template so no portfolio option). They would like the portfolio pages (Residential, Commercial, and Cultural) to have NO dates on the main list page and individual post pages. But they want to keep the dates on their regular blog page (called News). I've tried multiple codes and methods to do this and what seems to be happening is that it will work correctly and then randomly stop working. Or I'll open the page and the dates appear, then I'll refresh the browser and they're gone again like they're supposed to be. I've tried SO many different codes and methods and can't get anything to work consistently. Appreciate any insight!
  22. Site URL: https://grouper-glockenspiel-5ms6.squarespace.com/ We're putting dates into the native Squarespace Events page - NOT using Acuity - and the day is displaying incorrectly on the front end on the Events page. We've checked location settings, that's not it. We've gone in and reloaded the events repeatedly, and the date displays correctly until you hit Done, then it defaults to a day earlier with no time visible. HELP please.
  23. Site URL: https://www.aaloekkekoereskole.dk/tilmeld Hello, Although I have changed my Language and Region to Danish, the date format still shows as MM/DD/YYYY. Any help is much appreciated 🙂
  24. I'm trying to make some customizations to the events page, but the timestamps Squarespace provides are somehow strange: so e.g. this is startDate: 1657643425538 If I do var date1 = new Date(1657643425538).toString() startDate.toString(date1) // Tue Jul 12 2022 19:30:25 But the correct date set for the event is Friday 23, 2002, 9 AM. So what am I doing wrong? or what would be the best way to transform timestamp into correct date / time?
  25. Site URL: https://www.floranella.com/recipes/lemon-balm-popsicles I would like the date to appear above the title on each of my individual blog posts. Right now, when I enable the date to be visible, it appears above the title in the following format: "Aug 13" I would like it to appear this way: "August 13, 2019" I searched the forums for a fix for this and found someone who had created code we could insert in the advanced settings, but when I go to the Code Injection page, it only allows me to paste the code into boxes titled "Header," "Footer," "Lock Page" or "Order Confirmation Page," none of which seem to affect the blog posts at all. I did paste the code into the header box to see what would happen and it did not produce any change. I am not very tech savvy. If any of you know how to make this change and could walk me through how to do it, I would be so grateful! [Updated to Add: I have figured out how to get the year to show by inserting code into the footer section (I have attached an image of the code I used and an image of the resulting change), but I have not figured out how to get the full month to display instead of just the first three letters.]
