  1. Site URL: https://mwilliams.photo Hi, I'd like to remove the date from specific blog pages, but not all blog posts - I've been able to do the latter, but that's not what I want. Specifically, I am changing my homepage to a summary list, which then has a date on it. I want to remove the date from the main summary list post, but not all the posts. I also want to remove it from https://mwilliams.photo/my-gear-list. Basically, trying to figure out how to target specific blog pages and not just a global on/off code. Thank you, Matt
  2. Hey! I'm working with Rally template and trying to change "date" and "next/previous" to Swedish within the template. But it seems almost impossible. Everything else is in Swedish. Does anyone know how to change this? It would be like a dream! I'm releasing my site soon and the only thing that's looks a bit strange is this. Many thanks in advance. Best regards Rebecca
  3. Ladies and Gents, does anyone know how to / is able to add a feature of changing the date when customer's subscription is charged? my customers buy on our site for the first time and automatically subscribe, that's the only option. however, before we start preparing the next delivery, we check with the customer if they need it this month. they can postpone without charge. id they do, i obviously don't want to charge them. but squarespace doesn't offer that option. i have to cancel the whole subscription of that customer. so rubbish customer experience. does anyone have a ready solution? or is able to write one? or maybe there is a different way (e.g. manage subscriptions through stripe? it's our payment processor, they have the service called billing, but i have no idea if it's possible to make it happen and how to set up squarespace and stripe in that case to do it) thanks! Damian
  4. We are trying to and need to have the year after the date in a blog post. We are using the Skye Template. For example, the date just shows "Oct 2" how do we get it to display "Oct 2, 2019"?
  5. Site URL: https://bellflower-aardvark-67p5.squarespace.com/config/pages I am trying to make a Squarespace Website in Danish, and running into a few issues. Most of them I've overcome by now, but the Events page is still providing some issues. The issues are the following: Can I change the language - or inject some coding to do it - on the Events page, and on the individual events? This is the most important. On the main events page I can make it work by typing the date in as an excerpt, and not having the date visible on the Events page. That's what's being done in the middle screenshot "Udklip1". However this is of course not ideal, and when you visit the event the days and dates are shown in English once again. I found this forum post, but I have been unable to get any of the code to work: https://forum.squarespace.com/topic/11148-blog-post-translate-date-format-and-months-from-english-to-another-language/ Can it be changed to 24-hour, rather then AM/PM? As far as I am aware this is impossible. If it's not possible to do that's okay. Can the "Back to All Events" txet be changed? Ideally to say "Tilbage til Kalender". Or if not possible, just removed? And a little bonus issue. Is it possible to get the site to hyphenate words? I mean I can survive without it, but it does just look a little silly sometimes. Though I took some coding classes in high school I have forgotten all of it. So please talk to me as though I am five years old. If you need any more information please let me know. Thank you in advance.
  6. Site URL: http://www.burnthoneybakery.com.au I own a bakery and would like to set up online ordering for bread and pastries with pickup date and time required to place the order. However, we're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and not all breads and pastries are available every day so I'd like to add parameters to the order form to prevent customers from ordering items on days they're not available, from selecting a pickup time outside our trading hours, and preventing them from ordering within 48 hours of the pickup time. Is this possible with squarespace ecommerce? I'd also like to do the same for a bread subscription option.
  7. Site URL: https://www.likeneonlove.com/ Is there any code I can use that will change the date format of my blog posts? At the moment, my latest post reads "Apr 15", but I'd like it displayed as "15 April". I managed to change the format of my summary block using the below script, but I can't seem to get it working for my actual blog page. I'm using the Skye template. It's honestly infuriating that Squarespace STILL doesn't cater to its international customers. Having flexibility in changing date formats, US-based or not, should be a given for any website service! <script> // Changes the format of date on summary items var myObj = document.getElementsByClassName('summary-metadata-item--date'); var options = { year: 'numeric', month: 'long', day: 'numeric' }; for (var i = 0; i < myObj.length; ++i) { var item = myObj[i]; var date = new Date(item.innerHTML); item.innerHTML = date.toLocaleDateString('en-GB', options); } </script>
  8. Looking to hide the publish date from the blog page and blog posts on Montauk and not seeing a style option.
  9. Site URL: https://dog-wrasse-bzts.squarespace.com/selected-projects/victoria-point-foyer Hi Square space forum, How do you remove the month and day from a blog post to only show a year. I have added Java Script to advance settings to add the year but i only want to show the year on a blog post. https://dog-wrasse-bzts.squarespace.com/selected-projects/victoria-point-foyer Thanks!
  10. Site URL: https://www.wearehkers.com/main-english Hello, is there a way to change the date format in my link from January 2020 to JAN 2020? or to 01/2020, whether it's through code injection or css? Edit: I've also reduced the column gap using css column-gap:20px but now it's not center aligned and even though column-count:auto is on it's not filling the width with more columns, what css am i missing to do that?
  11. Hi, I added a summary block to show some of the featured Events I added to the site, and I would like to make the date look bigger. I tried to do it in Design / Fonts / Settings / Meta, and also Paragraphs, but it won't work. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks in advance, and have a wonderful rest of your day!
  12. I have been rebuilding my site, which includes re-posting some blog and podcast entries with their original post dates. A few weeks ago, this was merely irritating, since the only way to do this was by clicking on the date picker to go back as far as needed to get the right date. Coming back to the work this week, I find a BRAND NEW date picker interface that limits the ability to go back before January 2018. I still have posts that I'd like to place in time prior to that date. Is there a way to do this anymore? If not, I'm curious as to what possible advantage is there to take away a simple option like this from users?
  13. Hi everyone, Quick query please. The products on the site are basically membership for a year, so when the fulfilment email goes to the member I'd like to say their membership will need renewing one year from the date they joined. I know this pulls in the original date - {order.submittedOn|date %e %B, %Y, %I:%M%p %Z} = 29 June, 2020, 02:33PM BST But, I'm not sure how to add a year onto it to get 29 June, 2021, 02:33PM BST Any help much appreciated.
  14. Site URL: https://lion-sawfish-t7lt.squarespace.com/ Can someone please help me remove the date on my blog posts. I don't want it to show on the homepage. I keep trying each of these codes and they aren't working. Here's the link to my site: https://lion-sawfish-t7lt.squarespace.com/ THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
  15. I want to know how to hide an event date (because I don't know exact day yet) or perhaps replace it with only a month - for example change from 1st of September to only September? Here is a link to a website I'm building https://heron-gar-tw2b.squarespace.com/new-events Cheers
  16. Site URL: https://www.maceorestaurant.com/checkout Hi guys, I would like to change the date format on my boutique checkout form page. Indeed, the format is (MM/DD/YYYY) when, we use, in Europe, a DD/MM/YYYY format. I missed a few orders due to this rigid form. Maybe a good code could help? If you have some tricks to share I would be very thankful. Bless you all Adrian
  17. Site URL: https://www.stjohns-hydepark.com/prayer-requests Greetings! Just a quick question - is there any code that one can inject into my site which would automatically update the date? I have to manually update the page every day to add a daily prayer from the Church of England (I wish I could automate this!), but is it possible to have the date automatically change. This would be one fewer thing to do. Any coding / suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)
  18. What custom code can I add to squarespace to have the full day publish to a blog post? To look like this: WEDNESDAY, APR 29, 2020 on each blog post? This is what I have currently: APR 29, 2020

  21. Site URL: https://smilodon-ocelot-my5f.squarespace.com/blog/all-about-photo-merit-award Hi, How do I make my dates smaller in mobile view in my blog posts? (I thought I'd changed this in CSS already but can't find the code) passcode: trythis
  22. Site URL: https://www.suchakitsch.com/ Hi, I'm trying to remove the publish date showing on my blog posts. I'm using the Skye template and have tried following some Youtube tutorials and code I found online but none of the CSS I've tried works. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
  23. I'm trying to move a blog post from a WordPress site into a 7.1 site and it's not letting me use May 25, 2019 as a date. It will only allow future dates as far as I can see. All previous dates are greyed out. Does anyone know if there is a setting I need to change somewhere?? Thanks in advance!
  24. I am looking for a way to change the format of dates in blog posts (contained in the meta field of blog posts). I am developing a Swedish language website and would therefor like to change months from text to numeric (for example: change “March” to “03”) or from English to Swedish (change “March” to “mars”). Is this possible and if so how? I am willing to use JavaScript or whatever is necessary.
  25. I'm working on a blog for a client and they'd like to have the blog post date displayed in a certain format on the blog page and blog post page. Unless I'm blind, I don't see any format/display options for dates. On the blog page itself, dates are showing up like this: 03/04/20, and on the actual blog post, the date shows up like this: Mar 4. I'd love to see ability to control date formatting (numbers, month names, hide year, show year, change the delimiters, etc). At the very least, be consistent across pages!
