  1. We are not sure if this is the correct place to post this issue. If not, please point us to the correct forum. Issue: To the right of the page title, Services, it reads: composed writer.com. That's an old website name. It should read verbose editing.com. Most of our web pages read like this. We've scoured the template and can't figure out how to fix this. Does anyone know how to fix this? We are using the Handyman template. Thank you, Verbose
  2. Hi. I'm using the Flatiron template. When I open an item from the Index in a new tab, the page title and description don't show. I've read on Squarespace that if that page is clicked from Google, then also the page title and description don't show. They'll show only when the page is clicked directly from the Index. Is there any code to solve this issue? Thanks!
  3. I have tried suggestion for other templates but nothing seems to work
  4. I'm trying to make the title "Micah Taylor" on one of my pages white instead of dark blue. Right now I'm trying: #collection-5d759a43d5d43563cd41a84c .page-title{ color:#ffffff; } and it's not working. Here is the site: https://www.micahrtaylor.com/wheelchair Please help!
  5. Hi everyone, My site title (the one you enter into the 'site title' blank above the 'site tagline' blank in the Design tab) appears in my web browser tab on my cart page as well as on my homepage, which has prompted SEO tools to flag both pages as having the same title. I have it on good authority that google doesn't like duplicate titles, so is there any way to change the cart page title to something like 'Shopping Cart'? I've looked everywhere and even contacted customer service, and there's nothing to address this issue. No other page on my site shares the same title as my homepage, and every page except for the cart page seems to be fully SEO customizable. I've attached 2 images for reference - I can't include the link to the site yet, as it's in the dev stage and I don't have permission to go live yet. Thanks in advance!
  6. Hi, I'm using the "Stella" template and I am trying to have the title of my sections showing in the menu? Is there a way to achieve this? Because at the moment the only way to know what's on my site is to scroll down all the way... Thanks.
  7. I am editing my site (www.ashleyfrenchcreative.com) and am looking for a way to get rid of page descriptions and the share button on the pages featuring my work. I have seen similar questions on here with CSS code, but I've tried all of the code I can find and nothing has worked. For the share button, I've also tried going to the Marketing page and deselecting everything on the list...that did not work either. I do not really know anything about code, so it's possible I'm doing it wrong, or in the wrong place. But, I've tried inserting it into the "Home" page code injector and I've tried inserting it onto the individual pages...neither is working. If anyone can provide help, I would be so grateful!
  8. Can I replace the page title with a logo on the Camino template? The large text link will not go away. https://www.cestlaviebeautylounge.com/
  9. I am following along with Getting Started webinar recording from yesterday. I opened the exact same steps in the exact same template, but what I see in the Create New Page window is not the same as shown in the webinar. Is the webinar from an earlier version of Squarespace? Or...?
  10. I can't seem to figure out how to remove the page title (it's defaulted to "home" in the template) from my home page. There has to be a way to do that, can anybody help me out?
  11. I'm trying to add a strikethrough to only one word in my Page Navigation link. The project title is: "Control, Release, Delete" I'd like to have the link mirror the project title and only have the word 'release' with a strikethrough but I've only been able to find custom CSS / HTML for making all the site navigation links have a strikethrough... Screenshot below where I've circled the word 'release' to give a visual. Any suggestions how to do a strikethrough only on this one word? Thanks!
  12. Hello,I'm using Flatiron for my porfolio, and the first issue I ran into was that I wasn't able to add captions to the photos in galleries. The workaround was to create a page and add a gallery to it. Now the tricky part is that I don't want these pages with a gallery to live in the "index" because they're meant to be more sub-pages. When I move the pages out of the index, the title and description goes away, so I'm trying to figure out a way to add that back.
  13. How would I hide the Page Title on a page other than the home page. I'm using Five template. (by "Page Title", I mean the Page Title text that overlays on top of the Banner image). e.g. how would I hide the Page Description for a page like: http://mysite.com/about orhttp://mysite.com/contact thanks!
  14. The banner image on one of my pages makes the page title text hard to read, even if I change the font and font color. I'd rather not change the banner image itself. Is there a way to put a background color behind the page title text so that it pops from the photo, making it easier to read? The font is white so I'd like the background color to be black. I only want this on a couple of page titles, not the whole site. I guess what I'm looking for is something that approximates the text highlight feature in Microsoft Word. I'm using the FIVE template. I'm new at this, so thanks in advance!
  15. Hello! So this should be really quite simple but I just can't to seem to figure it out. I'm currently putting together my site in a trial period and planning to go live with it over the weekend. https://forceproductions.squarespace.com is the site. As you can see I've managed to get ALL of my header fonts to be diablo_h except for the main title - which is the most important! Firstly, I know nothing about CSS. I've managed to read through a ton of forums to figure out my way a bit, but this is the code I've injected so far: @font-face { font-family: 'diablo_h'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/55d0da93e4b0ebe2dff29cd3/t/55d2c187e4b0a6ed876846ba/1439875463298/diablo_h.ttf'),; font-weight: 400; } h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 { font-family: 'diablo_h'; font-weight: 400; } ALL THAT ABOVE IS WORKING I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make the main title text the same font, diablo_h. I have found that .page-title{display:none;} removes the title, but I can't seem to make it change the font. I also tried .homepage #siteTitle {font-family: 'diablo_h'; src: url('https://static1.squarespace.com/static/55d0da93e4b0ebe2dff29cd3/t/55d2c187e4b0a6ed876846ba/1439875463298/diablo_h.ttf'),; font-weight: 400} but that didn't do anything... Please help!
  16. Hi I am using the Adversary theme for my website and have an indexed home page. I have tried id tagging a block as suggested elsewhere and linking to that id with my button block without success. When you see my homepage, it is the featured photo with page title and description (which has a button in it). As you scroll down the photo has a parallax effect. I want my 'Learn More' button to simply scroll down to the first page contents, just past the photo. How can I do this? Any help is much appreciated, thanks. Here is the page and button (front and centre) I am referring to: http://www.triggerair.com
