  1. Site URL: https://www.stroudvalleysproject.org/events I'm helping a local charity to sell event tickets on their website using the 'service product'. However, they would like to close ticket sales ahead of the event itself. Is there an easy way to do this? Other than manually removing the ticket sales option from their event page 24 hours before the event is due to take place? Thanks!
  2. Hello @tuanphan - i've got it working properly in some browsers but not others, using the instructions given by @paul2009 above... I hope this helps others too as it seems to be a common problem...
  3. Hello @paul2009, I moved the first part of the code to 'Header' injection, and added the second part on the page in a 'code' block. I've also cleared the cache on both my browsers (chrome and safari). It seems to work on chrome in the live site. On safari however I don't get the posts from the timeline, but I do get the header. I'll ask the clients to check it in a few browsers as this feels like a step forward! Thanks, Sam
  4. Thanks @paul2009 I'd like to embed the Facebook page plugin with timeline tab at the bottom of this page: https://www.stroudvalleysproject.org/svp-eco-shop. Presently I've generated the code from developers.facebook.com and have added it as follows: Within settings > advanced > code injection > footer: <!-- for FB feed --> <div id="fb-root"></div> <script async defer crossorigin="anonymous" src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v11.0" nonce="AcU7VpiV"></script> Within an embed block on the page: <div class="fb-page" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/stroudvalleysprojectecoshop" data-tabs="timeline" data-width="" data-height="" data-small-header="false" data-adapt-container-width="true" data-hide-cover="false" data-show-facepile="true"><blockquote cite="https://www.facebook.com/stroudvalleysprojectecoshop" class="fb-xfbml-parse-ignore"><a href="https://www.facebook.com/stroudvalleysprojectecoshop">Stroud Valleys Project eco shop</a></blockquote></div> Oddly, my browser will let me see what I want when I'm signed in to Squarespace (previously it wouldn't even render in Squarespace), but when I launch an incognito window or alternative browser I get the following... Incognito window: Safari browser (loads the header but no timeline posts):
  5. Hi @tuanphan - No, sadly it never loads the timeline. It looked like this yesterday (with the header) but has since got worse and now just shows the 'computer sad face'.
  6. I also have a similar problem. If anyone has a recommendation it would be very welcome right now as scouring Facebook Developers support doesn't surface anything and Squarespace can't support it either. https://www.stroudvalleysproject.org/svp-eco-shop (bottom of the page)
  7. I have exactly the same problem on two sites: https://www.thekeepers.org.uk/ and https://www.stroudvalleysproject.org/svp-eco-shop Did anyone find a solution? I would really like to show some of the FB timeline. I just get a spinning wheel on both. I think it might be a javascript error. The javascript is added to the footer code injection.
  8. Site URL: https://stroud-valleys-project-dev.squarespace.com/ Hi there, I'm trying to set up a new site for a client who uses EPOS Now as the POS system in their shop. They want to sell some event tickets online and in their physical shop and update the inventory in both EPOS and SS each time something is sold, so they know they always have an accurate tally. Is there a way to do this please? I've tried looking at Zapier but that only seems to work with SS forms, which the cart isn't. Thanks!
