  1. I run spa business and would like the ability to approve or deny appointment requests. Can anyone help me out?
  2. My client's site offers services that require her clients to book times. I want to make it so that after her clients purchase the service (through squarespace checkout), they're directed to a calendar page to book the time/date of the service they just purchased. Currently she has her clients pay her via PayPal site after they book, so it hasn't been an issue, but we want to move the payment process to her site (through squarespace), and I just don't know how I can get her clients to pay for the service then be directed to the booking page. I tried doing a code injection, using the embed code for the calendar in the Order Confirmation page, and it added it to the footer, but there's no way to add it to the actual page or to edit the content of the Order Confirmation page to say "hey, look at the footer to book." I'm absolutely certain that people have had this problem before, but there seems to be no easy solution on Squarespace's help site. I've thought of adding information to the checkout page that just has the direct link to her calendar, stating that once they pay they'll need to follow the link to schedule their service, but this seems like it might be too confusing for the average client. Please if anyone has any idea how I can direct users to a booking page after they've purchased their service, I'd be very very grateful!!
  3. I am looking for advice for the best workflow for selling and scheduling service products on Squarespace while using Acuity. I would like to be able to sell and schedule directing from the store (because I feel it is the most intuitive) but it seems in order for that to work, I would need to send an email with a link to schedule (which we run into ensuring they don't exceed appointments paid for). The other option would be to embed the scheduler within a page about the service and let them pay and book from the embedded portion. Please shed some light on this and point out any other possible options or pitfalls. We just expanded to services on the site, so this is fairly new. Thanks in advance.
  4. Can you host a Squarespace site on a personal server?
  5. Site URL: https://www.ladyhestereats.com/ Hi, i'm getting shipping details and shipping confirmation emails for service products. Please help!! Many thanks Hayley
  6. Site URL: https://www.stroudvalleysproject.org/events I'm helping a local charity to sell event tickets on their website using the 'service product'. However, they would like to close ticket sales ahead of the event itself. Is there an easy way to do this? Other than manually removing the ticket sales option from their event page 24 hours before the event is due to take place? Thanks!
  7. Site URL: https://pineapple-harp-bna6.squarespace.com/experiences-1/p/tanzania-safari-and-cultural-adventure I'm making a site for a small travel company and hoping to change "quantity" to something like "# of travelers." It doesn't seem like that's an option in Commerce settings. Is it possible to change with code? Here is one of the trip pages: https://pineapple-harp-bna6.squarespace.com/experiences-1/p/tanzania-safari-and-cultural-adventure The password is Wellfleet. Thanks, Jack
  8. Site URL: https://www.BarbaraAnneHarrisFineArt.com site password: Cinderella56! I'm trying to set up workshops (by creating service products, and adding limited-quantity variants) for a client. I have implemented the mandatory form be filled out when they "add to cart" however, I need that same form to be filled out if they are purchasing multiple spots. The client is a children's club, and some parents might be buying space in the workshop for more than one of their kids (i.e. twins, siblings, etc). Therefore, the form needs to be completed for each 'item' sold, even if it is the same exact item. Is there a way to do this? Also, I have set a maximum quantity to each variant, however SS is allowing me to add more than the max quantity in my basket- not sure what I'm doing wrong here? Furthermore, I need to add a 'wait list' email option for when the class becomes 'sold out' and a notification/stop-sale when the class is full and the max quantity has been reached. Hoping someone can assist with this! Thanks in advance!!
  9. Site URL: https://takeepfit.com Im trying to create a separate confirmation for my service. At the moment both my product and service is receiving the same confirmation email but I want to have 2 separate emails so that when a service is purchased they're able to receive the location and time for the event in the confirmation email. I've spoken to Squarespace via their live chat and they've told me its possible with code injections but I have no idea on how that works, so I was wondering if anyone could help me please!
  10. Site URL: https://www.swingsandwings.com/summer-camps-2021 We offer summer camps for kids as service items from our Commerce platform. Each camp sign-up requires parents to complete an intake form (kids name, age, parent's contact info, etc). We do not want parents to add multiple summer camps simply by changing the quantity from 1 to 2 in the cart nor checkout; if they want to enroll multiple kids into the same camp, they have to add the camp to the cart multiple times, each time filling out the intake form. We offer a promo for multiple camps booked on the same order, so the Express Checkout option does not work for us. To enforce the above, we have disabled the option 'Let Customers Buy Multiple Service Products'. However, we are then unable to show the number of available slots for each camp. We've tried enabling the 'Limited Availability' label, but apparently Squarespace suppresses this if you disable the option to 'Let Customers Buy Multiple Service Products'. If I enable 'Let Customers Buy Multiple Service Products', the number of available slots does show up as desired, but customers are then able to manually increase the quantity of a particular camp on the checkout page (I can suppress it using code injection on the product page and in the cart, but not at checkout). We would like to remove the Quantity option but also show the number of available slots for each camp. Squarespace customer support says this is currently not possible and can submit a feature enhancement request, but who knows when that might happen. Given the current circumstances with the pandemic/restrictions/etc, our survival beyond this summer depends greatly on our ability to sell these summer camp service items through our website and we want to leverage any tools we have in order to do so, such as showing that slots are limited and to book quickly. Any assistance will be appreciated!!
  11. Site URL: https://bumblebee-alpaca-tksd.squarespace.com We are building a website for an outreach ministry of a church. The ministry – called Joy in Learning – offers a variety of creative classes like basketweaving, painting and pottery, to name a few. Some classes are free while others require a fee for materials. We are using Commerce to RSVP for classes, rather than Scheduling. Scheduling proved to be a little too involved for us, and ultimately we want registration information to populate in a Google spreadsheet so that we’re not manually creating the attendance list from emails and so the registration information is easily accessible to administrators as well as teachers. Because of this, we have the registration form on one page, and once that’s complete we have it linked to the specific product page (for paid classes) so that it can be added to the shopping cart and paid for. Here are two examples: https://bumblebee-alpaca-tksd.squarespace.com/gallery-3-1 https://bumblebee-alpaca-tksd.squarespace.com/fused-glass-1 (I know the URLs need some attention.) Three questions: Is that the only/best process for paid classes? Is there a way to create a capacity on attendance just by using the registration page? (Not linked to a specific product page to ‘add to cart’ and check out.) Example: https://bumblebee-alpaca-tksd.squarespace.com/kindergarten-to-4th-graders-1 We would like to have something on several of the pages that shows how many spaces remain/are available/waiting list. It would be great if this could be on the registration page as well as the product page, similar to what was asked here. (I am also commenting on that thread.) Site: https://bumblebee-alpaca-tksd.squarespace.com Password: J0yinLe@rning! Thanks for your help!
  12. We sell professional services to educational customers who mostly use Purchase Orders to pay. Is there an alternative checkout option in SS that would accept the order without a credit card transaction and generate a bill/invoice to the client instead? We use a third-party tool for event registration and would love to bring it all to SS for easier management. Thank you! Natasha www.alllearnersnetwork.com
  13. I am wondering how to display an hourly rate for the pricing of my service. I created my service page using pages-service. Please let me know if there is a way to do create this.
  14. Site URL: https://www.mgpokemon.com/ Hello! Looking for advice. Site offers a “grading” service, buyer clicks “add to cart” and a form comes up with a few questions they have to answer by filling out text inputs. each service added to cart has to have individual details. I found out if they just “add to cart” and fill out info, search service instance stacks in the shopping cart accordingly and keeps the responses. For that to work properly there cannot be a quantity input - I found out that can be hidden with custom CSS, and it won’t affect the checkout. My question is, is there a better way to do this? I could code an app snippet that collects the info as I need it, then send it to a database or email but I don’t want to fragment like that. Is there maybe an extension that allows for that behavior?
  15. Hello, can anyone please guide me how can i convert my existing physical or service product to digital product? any help would me appreciated. Thanks
  16. Hi Everyone, I would like to know if it is possible to remove the Dollar sign on the Product/Service page, as we charge our services via our own Quoted and Consultation system, we cannot put a price on the service in general as it varies, is there anything i can do, a code or a section i can go to, to remove the $ sign where is says the price? I have provided a photo of the mock page which is yet to be completed, i am wanting to make a waitlist with this section without a price. Your help is much appreciated! Kindest regards, Kelly.
  17. So I'm just about to take my site live when I realize that all of my inventory was mistakenly added as "services" instead of physical products. How can I change this without having to delete all of my inventory and starting over? It doesn't give the option when I try to edit....
  18. Site URL: https://www.or-never.com/ Hi there I was wondering if anyone could help me with choosing the best scheduling software for my clients Yoga Website. Any recommendations? It can be both, Squarespace scheduling or als the integration of a third-party provider. I have heard form sutra.fit. But it should only work with a personal plan. What about Acuity? Many thanks Sibylle
  19. Hello, I’m very new to all this and I’m having a lot of trouble navigating the help articles. A couple of things: First, is the SquareSpace mobile website builder efficient? I will be building on an iPad Air. Second, I can’t figure out which plan fits my needs. I need a domain name and I am selling an online service by appointment. Thanks in advance.
  20. Hello everyone, hope for your wisdom and generosity: please help me with the members area and multiple service packages/programs. We are developing a training website for pets and have multiple service packages to offer. Depending on the program/package customer chooses and purchases certain video content should be available in his/her member's area. How can it be done with squarespace? Which template is the best here? At the moment according to the squarespace support there is all-in-one membership access - all members have access to the same content. Kind regards, Daria
  21. Site URL: https://www.tealcanvas.com/ Hi Squarespace pros! We have a site that will launch within the next week or two. In our service, we need a pop up that includes our terms of service that a visitor must check a box to agree in order to work with us (a clickwrap). Unfortunately, squarespace does not offer this as a native feature. Has anyone any experience in this that may be able to help. We are still password protected.... Tealcanvas0202. We have been advised that a clickwrap rather than a browsewrap is key to protect us as a business.
  22. Site URL: https://challengebonheurdemo.squarespace.com/config/ We're selling online courses (hosted on a different platform). It's a digital product, but it's not a file. It's a unique link. How can we send an individually UNIQUE link to each customer as their private invite link to the course? I'd like that after they purchase, an email will be sent to them with their private individual link. Currently this is hard in squarespace because of the (1) blanket email regardless of which product they purchased and (2) I didn't see any way to specify a list of links to send etc. Another workaround is to send them an individual gift card I guess but not ideal. Even in that case, I didn't understand if that's possible (if I can specify the gift cards). Is this possible via squarespace email campaigns maybe? I assume this might not be possible in squarespace and might need an external automation, but I wanted to verify and also ask in that case which automation would you recommend best (zapier? mailchimp / marketo etc?)
  23. Site URL: https://www.thehappyplaceschool.com/ I want to move the price of my item lower to the add to cart button so that the customer can see the price change based on the variant they select- is that possible with CSS?
  24. Site URL: http://bscleverage.com Because the stores on my site are for separate services I need them to redirect to separate webpages after the payment is made how can I accomplish this? I offer two types of services. Therefore, upon order confirmation I need my site to send clients to two separate intake/thank you pages so that all of the information directs to the correct team for their set-up process
  25. Site URL: https://magnolia-sprout-wnbn.squarespace.com/config/commerce/checkout As part of the service we provide, the customer must send us some digital information after the order is completed. Sq.Space thought they could complete this through a the product additional information form, but that form is not operational after they paid for the item. The customer cannot submit their digital information until after the service paid for as we have to confirm that they have the appropriate credentials. So, we've been brainstorming workarounds. Can the submission form be sent with the "order fulfilled" notification as that has all the customer/order/service details on it? And if there is a way to get that back to me. Another alternative would be to add a free product to their account/cart which is basically just the submission form. In either case, I would like this to be pre-filled with their order, account, and service items. Each service item does require a digital response and must be tied to that service. Is this something that Google sheets can work with? But . . . I was really hoping to direct them back to the website for all order information. How do you handle customer follow-up? I really could use some help on how to get this done as I do not want to manually do this for thousands of data entry points on an excel sheet and manual customized e-mails. HELP!
