Did either of you ever figure out this issue? I'm having the same thing happen now and cannot figure it out despite all kinds of troubleshooting. It shouldn't be this hard, right? Thanks!
I know this is going to sound simple but try signing out of your account, clearing the cache on whatever browser you're using and then logging in and trying again. Sometimes that works for odd glitches.

When you click on the larger picture it will open to a screen similar to what I have in the screenshot. To manage commerce you click on commerce. To change site colors, fonts, et cetera, you click on design. To build the site you click on pages.
-
Click on the big picture and it’ll take you into where you’ll have options to pick from on the left. You’ll see things like pages commerce settings things like that.
-
Let’s start with the plan that you’re on. It needs to be a business plan or hire in order to have the e-commerce on it.
When you’re designing the site you’ll want to go into the commerce section that is going to be on the left-hand side of the page. Let me know if it doesn’t show up I’m not at my computer right now so I can’t grab any screenshots but I can try and walk you through it.

I'm very new to this. I haven't set up a website in a long time, so I'm a bit frustrated that it seems more difficult than it was 20 years ago. I have everything I need, but they are not in the same place. There is a one page website with a Learn more button that I can't figure out. But, the most frustrating part is the commerce side that doesn't connect to the website. They're two separate entities. I feel really stupid because I can't sort this out myself. Would I be better off ditching the website? My domain is connected to it, so anyone who tried to use my service goes to a useless page that does nothing and has no commerce links. I'm just looking to the simplest solution to this maddening issue.
I want to check and make sure that you are indeed on Squarespace and not Square and using their website builder. It's a common mistake/frustration so before diving in I thought I would check.

@luca_biasco you should be able to do this with custom forms in the scheduling app

I'm not sure if it will help anyone, but I'm using Geneva for my community. It's free and works like Circle. Members have to have an actual cell number to sign up for verification. Virtual numbers won't work. I find that it's helpful, but there is the drawback of people who don't have a cell and want to join have to contact Geneva to be let in.

Hello! I would so very much appreciate any insights on why my website is coming up as Not secure. I made sure there are no mixed links (there are no HTTP links, only https) and I have tried to research on how to fix it but I'm not getting much insight. My website is: acomealchemy.com -- I would appreciate any help!!
This is what im seeing below:
CERTIFICATE STATUSSSL certificates aren't currently available for the domains below. If it's been longer than 72 hours, there could be an issue with these domains. Learn how to fix it.- acomealchemy.com (Primary)

SSL Certificate StatusUnavailableIt may just be the messaging hasn't dropped off yet. I just checked both urls and they both came up with an active SSL and padlock for me.

do you work for squarespace? If not, do you know how to contact them because this problem persists despite all that you have suggested.
did that. They are all switched on and it has made no difference.
I do not. Though sometimes I do wish I did. If you follow the link that @paul2009 provided you will be able to get to support.

Double check the posts. If it was turned on after you made a post it may have stayed off. I have had to go back in in the past and turn it on for individual posts.

You can turn on commenting under Settings - Blogging - Comment Settings - Enable Comments Globally

I purchased a site and didn't do anything with it except to put in the title of my website. I've had some health issues since then (early in November was when I purchased the Squarespace Website Builder) and now I see that there actually IS a website for podcasts. Are you (or anyone) telling me that because I let a website go dormant for just one month (due to illness), I have to now PAY FOR that "non" use of one month and CANCEL my subscription and buy a new subscription? I'm astonished!! I'm happy to not have used the one month because I was ill, but can't I just now start using a new template?
Most everyone in the forum are users like yourself. Unfortunately we can't help you or really advise you on billing issues. You need to reach out to Support.

Hello,
I spoke with two support representative and they both said I would be able to transfer a domain from one old SquareSpace site to the new SquareSpace site after we created a new account. I can't and super frustrated how much time and how much time we have spent dealing with this issue.
We typically do not recommend SquareSpace because of this.
Thanks,
Brad
Like @paul2009 said, you can move domains between sites on the same account but I don't believe you can move them between actual accounts in a straight forward way.
One thing you can try is to assign the domain to a site in the original account and then invite the new account to that site and transfer ownership. The domain should then be in the correct account.

@AlanBryceGrossman I would make the image of the press release downloadable OR put the image in a lightbox. You can't read it because of the size.

Oops, sorry! I thought you could just get there from my profile. Here it is! http://www.brownmariephotography.com
The only thing that I see that needs work is the menu on the home page is extremely hard to read when you scroll with that dark header and dark text.

I need to use Tahoma as the body font in my entire website, but unfortunately SS does not offer that font, just Open Sans (it's cousin)
Is there any CSS I can use to convert my Open Sans content to Tahoma?
The site is still being built and it private, which is why I have not shared the url. Thanks in advance for any help with this query!

This will help. @inside_the_square has amazing tutorials. This is what I used for custom paragraph and header fonts on my site.

I just compared the site between Safari and Chrome and it's the same on both for me. Maybe try clearing the cache in Safari or testing in a Private window? I've had some issues with Safari too and I think it has to do with some updates they have been rolling out.

Is there any way to add this codepen.io countdown timer to my website? I have the personal plan. I tried copying the code into a code block with the "CSS" option but that didn't seem to work.
I don't think you can since you can't add custom code, but this site works with the personal plan and an embed block.
There's also this site but I haven't tested it yet.

I transferred my domain from Wix to Squarespace 3 days ago and still see "transfer pending" on my domain settings on Squarespace so I still see an error message if I go to my domain. Is there something I am missing or does this just take unusually long with Wix to Squarespace. GoDaddy and Bluehost for example transfer to Squarespace within a matter of hours.
Wix can take up to 7 business days to transfer. Sometimes they send an email where you can accept it right away and sometimes they don't. I work with them as well and they are hit or miss on domain transfers. Some take an hour and some take the full length of time. You could try reaching out and seeing if something is hung up on their end, but no guaranteee they will be of any help.

Try adding to Design > Custom CSS
body { background-color: #333; }
The background color worked for me as well to get rid of the white. Just in case it matters I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro Max and the original hide overflow code didn't work for me either.

I actually don't want to sell them. I'd be making them available for free.
Well that makes it easier for sure. You can do the blog post thing and allow reading that way or you can pay for members spaces and make it free. If you do the member thing people will have to sign up and you'll have a record of who has access. Not sure if you want to spend on something if you aren't selling them though.
-
@GenevieveVavance I'm assuming that you want to sell them and not put them up for free correct?

Hi! I'm trying to use a different logo for different pages on my website. I am using the personal plan on squarespace. Is there a way I can code this in without upgrading to the business plan?
If it requires code injection unfortunately not. Custom code like that is available on business plans or higher. If you can find a way to do it with just CSS and code blocks on the actual page it may be possible.

Hi, any help will be hugely appreciated.
I would like to use Squarespace for our new company website.
MD is unsure, they want their three latest blogposts to appear as headlines on the home page. Their blog is in Wordpress.
I have been searching for custom code to enable me to pull the content from the external site and update when a new blog is posted.
Many thanks all.
Rebecca
Sire is still in trial development so can't supply that but here is a link to the rough homepage.

It can be done, you just need the WordPress blog feed url. It won't look like the sample in your image though. There may be code to format it that way, but I do not know what it is. Hopefully if it's possible someone can help.
If you use the embed block with the feed url it will look like the image below.
Looking to hire someone to help me transfer domain and email

Your best bet on finding a good match would be to check out the Marketplace. You can narrow down what you need and find an expert. https://www.squarespace.com/designer/home
