I like how you are a problem solver Kristine.  I will email you.
I am currently doing a Product Form for each subscription level (24, 20, 18, 16, 12, 10, 8 & 6).  It is so annoying because you cannot copy and change the Product Forms and have to build each one from scratch with however many variants you have and each bar flavor (12) flavors.
I will think about your suggestion of only doing even numbers of bars.  That is quite clever and would seem to allow for a better build process.

Thanks Kristine, I will check out your videos.  I found out how to export to .cvs and that I can edit there.  I think this will greatly speed up the process of populating everything.  I appreciate your help and will see if your videos give me added insight.

KristineNeilStudio reacted to paul2009 in What is the url of the individual video uploaded in a page?
No. As explained above, a Squarespace do not make a video URL available. Instead they stream the video file using a Blob URL that is only valid for the user's session.

KristineNeilStudio got a reaction from X5pilot in Shipping prices on checkout greatly inflated vs integrated extensions like EasyShip
@gnaut There's not a way to display the rates calculated by a shipping extension such as Easyship at Squarespace checkout. You can decide what rates to display to your customers though - either by setting flat rates or showing variable rates by weight. As you've discovered, the variable rates shown using carrier calculated rates by Squarespace can sometimes vary quite a bit and customers can definitely be turned off by surprisingly high shipping fees in the cart!
I cover how shipping extensions work and how to set up a profitable shipping strategy in this blog post if it's helpful: https://kristineneil.com/blog/how-to-set-up-a-profitable-shipping-strategy-on-squarespace

@richhelmer The bug where fulfillment profiles stopped working if an item was removed from cart should be fixed now.

@paul2009 The cart page issue you shared seems unrelated but I can raise it with the appropriate team.
@richhelmer Hopefully soon, we are investigating what would be required to fix it now. And yes, product filtering is certainly on our radar.

Yep. My site, www.thesalvageco.com, is having issues with the cart too. I have a furniture store and wanted different profiles for different-sized furniture. Everything works great when you run through and add a couple of items to the cart. When you remove everything from the cart and try it again, the second time, all options are gone. I must clear the cart and then completely clear my browser cache to reset everything. It does it on all my MacBook, iPad, and iPhone browsers. It must be a glitch with the new fulfillment profiles. I contacted SS with a video of what was happening, and they confirmed there was a problem, as they could recreate the issue on my site too. Hopefully, it will get fixed quickly. I was excited to be able to have this feature.

KristineNeilStudio got a reaction from SC2023 in Sites using both Square Space & Shipstation
@SC2023 - Paul's answer above is spot on. To elaborate further, I always describe shipping on Squarespace as having two sides to an equation:
On the customer side, you have whatever rates you set in Squarespace. This is what your customers are charged for shipping. On the merchant side, you have whatever rates you're charged by carriers. Using a shipping extension such as ShipStation can help you get better rates and streamline your fulfillment process.  The two are independent of one another and depending on your goals you'll want to either have these two sides net out to zero or bake in a little profit, either by charging your customers more (not ideal) or paying less to ship than your customers are charged.

The only shipping option on Squarespace that would show variable rates based on package size and destination zip code is Carrier Calculated Shipping. Just keep in mind that this controls what customers are charged NOT what merchants pay.
Conversely, a shipping extension controls what merchants are charged NOT what customers pay. So even if you use carrier-calculated rates, a shipping extension can still be really helpful.
Hope this helps explain a bit more how this works!

It will not look any different to a customer.
The customer will still select from the shipping profiles you have created in Squarespace. This doesn’t change. After they have placed their order, their order details will be sent to Shipstation (or whichever shipping extension you use) so that you can print a shipping label and optionally a packing slip.

KristineNeilStudio reacted to creedon in Target shop category pages with css
I have updated my code there was a bug.
The code adds the data-store-category attribute to the body tag.
It can be targeted in a CSS selector with something like the folllowing.
[data-store-category="Petrified Wood"] Here is the CSS.
    @media screen and ( min-width : 576px ) { [data-store-category="Petrified Wood"].tweak-products-nested-category-type-sidebar.tweak-products-category-title .products.collection-content-wrapper .nested-category-title:after { border-color : #a00; content : "Text goes here..."; font-family : Raleway; font-size : calc( 1rem ); padding : 20px 0; opacity : 1; text-align : center; } } @media screen and ( max-width : 575px ) { [data-store-category="Petrified Wood"].tweak-products-category-title .products.collection-content-wrapper .nested-category-title.nested-category-title-padding:after { /* add mobile property value pairs here */ } } The selector is longer because I used the same selector SS uses, with the addition of my added attribute.
Let us know how it goes.

Chiming in here to hopefully help this topic get some more traction. Being able to style the lock screen as a "coming soon" page in 7.1 is absolutely necessary and the fact that style options for things like font, photo overlay, etc. are missing from 7.1 on this has to be an oversight. Just make this work like it did in 7.0! Not sure why this wouldn't be possible?! It's imperative to be able to have a branded coming soon page!

I have the same problem as mentioned by others. I told customer service. They said they would pass it on to their design and engineering team but couldn't guarantee anything. I don't have the Business plan to use a code injection. I have to deal with the limited option they now offer. I don't want to be restricted to fonts they have chosen (for the lock screen) on my site. It makes no sense from a design or branding perspective.

Still this problem exists. I'm trying to style my lock screen before I take down my site to make some changes.
This is really poor from Squarespace. No ability to change any styles apart from the password input.
I'm also not able to use the code injection workaround as I'm not on a premium plan.
Any timeframe from when we can expect a fix?
