vocochoirs
We're using shapes like cards and now the text and shape seem to be grouped. I want to add a shadow to the shapes but can't isolate the shape itself to do so. Help! As you can see, the text box is highlighted and I can't access the shape box below it to get to the shape formatting. Higher up on the page I was able to do this, but am no longer able to now. https://tetra-cylinder-jagt.squarespace.com/config/pages Link to comment

vocochoirs
Actually, that only gives me the option to duplicate. Once duplicated I can move the duplicated portion front to back, but not the text from front to back. Link to comment

Once duplicated I can move the duplicated portion front to back, but not the text from front to back. Click on the third icon from the left. The one that's a solid square in front of a dotted square. If you hover on that, it should say something like "bring forward". Likewise, the 4th one is "send backwards". vocochoirs
Hey everyone, thanks for the help, but it's not helping! I don't have an option to click on the back to front, as you can see in the very first screen shot I included; I only have the option to duplicate. I am really trying to avoid just deleting the whole section and starting over, but it looks like that's what I'll have to do. Thanks anyway! Link to comment

If the Text Block was overlapping with another block like a Shape Block, you'd see the forwards/backwards options in the context-sensitive menu: As you don't see these options, the block isn't overlapping another block 🙂. You can remove the background colour from the Text Block by clicking the Edit button (Pencil) and then the Paint Bucket icon. Did this help?
