Rawthentic314,

Asking for feedback is fantastic! I applaud your desire to grow and improve.

Honestly, a call would likely be best, but I answered with some broad strokes to give my thoughts on the various categories. I included a calendar link below if interested.

User Experience: How easy is it to navigate? Is the purchasing process straightforward?

  • Navigating the site is fairly easy if folks know what they're looking for, but I have more thoughts on the content/flow that I list in the Content section below.
  • All the headings are self explanatory, but easy to scroll past at first glance.
  • Generally speaking, you have a lot of content in multiple directions; I say more below

Design and Aesthetics: Does the website's design effectively showcase my art? Are there any visual elements that could be improved?

  • From a first scroll of your homepage, I can't tell that you're an artist. I like the designs you show in your portfolio and other places like the Canvas artwork page. I would advise you to put some of your work on the homepage. Something bright and gripping from each format (digital designs, photography, canvas, and audio/music)
  • First scroll made me think you only do logos/brands. You clearly do so much more

Content: Is the information about my art and projects clear and engaging?

  • Some basic fixes: The About page is still the basic content from creating the page. I would love to see some of you there 🙂 . Also, the Services page should really only be used to explain what you do. That's where you can break into detail about logos vs. basic designs vs. artwork sales vs. artwork for hire vs. audio production etc. Grab the rest of that content and create a basic Terms and Conditions page.
  • The copy on the homepage is slightly redundant, but that's an easy fix too.
  • Give more space to your work/services before the CTA of booking with you. That will build more trust and confidence in your work.
  • Honestly, I think the site is struggling with some identity. You have the design pieces leading, then a large amount of creative/art-focused content, then audio sales and production, THEN recipes? All are great, but they are confusing in combination. Maybe create a separate blog/site for the cooking elements. That could also be muddling the SEO and the UX.
  • Finally, I would advise narrowing a path. Photography is one, design is another, artwork is yet another.

Performance: How are the loading times? Any technical glitches or issues?

  • Loading time was fine 🙂

Again, lots here.  You are clearly an incredibly talented individual, but I think some work needs to be done to help clarify and showcase your work and help easily navigate visitors to action. I'd be happy to jump on a call to discuss if that would be helpful!

Dear Aaron,

First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the comprehensive and insightful feedback you've provided regarding my website. Your thoughtful analysis and suggestions are invaluable to me as I strive to enhance the online presence of my artistic endeavors.

User Experience and Navigation:
Your point about the ease of navigation for those who know what they're looking for is well-taken. I appreciate your thoughts on the content and flow, and I agree that clearer guidance could be beneficial for new visitors. The suggestion to make headings more prominent to avoid them being overlooked is something I will certainly implement. The idea of displaying bright and gripping pieces from each format is excellent and will help convey the diversity of my work more effectively. Your feedback about the redundancy on the homepage and the importance of giving more space to my work/services before the CTA is something I will work on to build trust and confidence in my work. I also agree with your observation about the website's identity struggle. The idea to separate the cooking elements into a different blog or site makes sense and could indeed improve both SEO and UX.

Your advice to narrow down my focus to specific paths like photography, design, or artwork is something I've been contemplating, and your feedback has reinforced this need. I will take a closer look at how I can specialize more clearly in these areas. I'm glad to hear that the loading times and technical performance are up to par. Once again, thank you immensely, Aaron, for your time, expertise, and willingness to assist. Your feedback is not just helpful; it's a catalyst for growth and improvement.

A conversation might be in our future.

Best regards,

Rawthentic314

You have mad art skills. There's zero problems with your talent. However, like the response from AnimoInnovations I get lost in your site. There's simply too much in every direction—from font to graphics. I focused in on your animated teary eye work... love to see that as your main image covering the site side to side. Maybe with the word enter... like you are going to take a user on a journey. Not sure how you accomplish it, but that's where I gravitated to immediately. I have the same problem with my 7.0 site, which I need to resolve quickly. Again I agree that Navigation is an issue... but it is fixable. The header is too large, too much white space... no need for it. Your art work needs to drive the site period, not the menu. Hope this helped.
