Solution derricksrandomviews Posted September 22, 2023 Solution Share Posted September 22, 2023 (edited) Two things to look at . Add Squarespace defaults Squarespace defaults are DNS records that point your domain to your site. Your domain can stop connecting to your site if these records have been edited or deleted. If your domain is connected via DNS Connect, follow these steps to restore the defaults: Open the Domains panel. Click the domain you're working to connect. Click Edit DNS. Select Squarespace defaults from the Add preset drop-down menu. Click Add. ayoolu
Hello, I have this domain(http://boxinrecruiting.com/) and it says the provider of this domain is Squarespace. I have a ubuntu server which I want to map to this domain, so I went to DNS settings, deleted default records and added a custom A record, this is exactly what I do on any other domain providers like godaddy and namecheap etc. But I am getting DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error when I try to access the URL in browser. I checked if domain is pointing to the IP address but it's not(SS attached). Please help Link to comment

design_guru
Hi, I just successfully re-verified my Squarespace domain contact via email. It says that my domain is now active, but this error appears whenever I try to access the public domain. Does it usually take time? What can I do to re-activate this? Link to comment
BB-SeekingHelp
I hope someone can help me solve this problem. I have tried every day for a week without progress. Currently, the DNS for stumperandbeans.com has the two required CNAMES from blogger but not the four A records for a naked redirect. I have tried that, too, but it still fails. In blogger, I have added stumperandbeans.com as my custom domain by adding the appropriate CNAME records per the instructions and that worked just fine. Publishing Blog address stumperandbeans.blogspot.com Custom domain www.stumperandbeans.com Fallback subdomain Redirect domain stumperandbeans.com to www.stumperandbeans.com However on the Blogger site I get this error message Status: Failed - HTTPS SSL Certificate failed to be processed due to challenge data not being visible through the public internet. Check your DNS setup. The operation will retry shortly. When I try to view the blog from blogger, I get this error message This site can't be reached Check if there is a typo in www.stumperandbeans.com DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN When I do a google search on chrome search for stumperandbeans.com returns search pages where I use the name stumper and beans, but not the website URL or an error message When I do a search on safari I get Safari Can't Find The Server Safari can't open the page "stumperandbeans.com" because Safari can't fin the server "stumperandbeans.com" Link to comment
