The Lack of Webhooks on SquareSpace for Third-Party App Integration

I would like to share my thoughts on the absence of a webhook feature on SquareSpace for communicating with third-party applications.

I believe that there should be a simple way to add an endpoint to send order data at its creation or billing. Moreover, since we receive emails as soon as an order is placed, it should be easy to set up a URL endpoint or a third-party application for every commerce action, and have instant information.

I think SquareSpace should take inspiration from Typeform's model, which allows for data communication at its creation and streamlines order management processes.

It is important to note that integration with third-party applications is a key element for many website owners. Enabling the use of webhooks for data communication would greatly facilitate the order management process and allow for smoother integration with other applications.

I hope SquareSpace takes these suggestions into consideration to improve the platform and provide an even better experience for its users.

SS does have some webhooks. I do not know whether they will work for your particular needs.

At the very least, please consider making something like this available to advanced commerce tier accounts.
