Eidronis
Hello all I've just developed my first squarespace website and I'm trying to max out the SEO. I've used Page Speed Insights to help me spot any issues, and I'm working through them to see if there is anything I can do to correct them. I have posted images of the issues: OPPORTUNITIES Reduce initial server response time – 0.68s Reduce unused JavaScript – 0.52s Eliminate render-blocking resources – 0.32s DIAGNOSTICS Ensure text remains visible during webfont load Image elements do not have explicit width and height – Logo Serve static assets with an efficient cache policy Which of these can be fixed? And, if any can be fixed, any support would be greatly appreciated. Please be aware that I'm not a coder whatsoever. Thanks Link to comment

The suggestions in the PageSpeed Insights report are not within your control. You'll need to rely on the work that Squarespace engineers are doing centrally to improve performance across all sites. My mate thinks he may be able to write some code to fix the 'Ensure text remains visible during webfont load' issue. Link to comment

amdevries
I've done everything in this video, and my score is still 30. Squarespace's JS is taking 1400 ms to load! Will this ever be fixed or do I have to move away from Squarespace? I've been frustrated by this issue for over 4 years now and I always hoped they would fix it but it doesn't look like it's going to ever happen. Link to comment
