  1. Hey @emiehughes - I have a video on this exact topic which should help!
  2. Potentially make this longer? It might be worth checking out @kristineneil's site: https://kristineneil.com/ - she has tonnes of helpful guidance for ecom sites.
  3. Hey @Evgeniy - you can redirect it using a 301 redirect, but then you will lose rankings for the keywords unfortunately! Could you possibly make the product description longer instead?
  4. No problem! If it helped, would you mind marking it as the solution please? Thank you!
  5. Hey @RudolfoDalamicio - you need to change your site title. To do this, edit your site's header, then click on your logo and edit your site title - take a look at the attached screenshots.
  6. Hey @ECBAdmin - happy to help! I've recorded a Loom video which should help: https://www.loom.com/share/494e3d196fa4409dbc64ad704fcd4430?sid=9f23a1ad-b3bb-4bbc-96fe-6f73e825fe38 I ran your site through SEOSpace - I don't have access to your Google Search Console, so I can't get fully accurate results, but hope this helps! Here's the video I mentioned:
  7. Hey @Immortal_Explorer - potentially - it is quite blocky in some places. I'm not a design expert, but you can probably achieve the same word count/copy amount but "hide" it by having sliders etc. that tie things off nicely. I know @bycrawford does this well on his homepage: https://bycrawford.com/
  8. Hey @ECBAdmin, sure! Feel free to drop your site, and we can take a look.
  9. No problem at all @Rodney1234! If you wouldn't mind marking it as the solution that would be great thank you 🙏
  10. Hey @Rodney1234 - I understand how frustrating this can be! I've added some solutions below: Optimize your SEO title: Make your SEO title 50-60 characters, this is optimal for Google Connect your website to Google Search Console: GSC is the platform you connect your site to, in order to let Google know you're ready to be shown up on search engines - submit your sitemap and request indexing of your homepage to boost your changes of showing up well. I have a resource for this here: Follow SEO best practices: If your homepage isn't following other SEO best practices, Google is less likely to take you seriously - a common pitfall is not having >300 words on every web page. The above video also has some other common pitfalls. Hope that helps!
  11. Hi @kellywilliamsphotographer - please could you send the page across so I can take a look? In general, for SEO, you only need to add alternative text (alt text) to images, so you might be able to get away without adding the title and description.
  12. Hi @Katey001 - I feel your frustration here! I've been here too. I've added some possible solutions below, but sometimes this can take time. Ensure your SEO titles are 50-60 characters long - this is optimal for displaying on search engines - I have added a video at the bottom which should help. Make sure the rest of your page follows SEO best practices - ensure you're following an SEO checklist across the rest of your page so it's easy for Google to crawl your website and display you correctly Backlinks - backlinks are links from other websites, they increase your domain authority - a score of how reputable your site is on Google. If you don't have many backlinks, Google is less likely to take your site seriously and crawl it more often. Get high-quality backlinks, and Google is more likely to be kind here. Optimize your SEO description (meta description) - this should be 150-160 characters long and include the main keyword you want to rank for. Internal links: adding internal links from other web pages to this one, indicates to Google that this is an important page, and boosts the likelihood it'll display correctly. This is called "page hierarchy" Requested indexing - have you submitted your sitemap to Google Search Console and manually requested indexing? This can really help. I've added a video guide below to connecting Google Search Console to Google.
  13. Hey @Samdidam - checkout this video, this should answer your query:
  14. Hi @HayleyTitheradge - no problem at all! Yes, this just means Google knows the web page is there (so it is recognising your content, fortunately!), but hasn't decided to index it for a number of reasons - I have a video here which might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sZk1CA3zIA In terms of backlinks... it's tricky; there are lots of ways and a lot of people do it wrong. I have a strategy in this video at 10:04 which should help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyFb3Uell4k In general, I recommend: Creating content that's worthy of linking to Collabs with other businesses Guest posting Sharing content across social media Working with industry organisations etc.
  15. I studied the top 10% of Squarespace websites (in terms of organic traffic) to see what they do differently and what makes them stand out. The top 10% had, on average: 2.85x more backlinks 6.75x more keywords on Google 19.8% higher SEO score Which means, to get closer to the top 10% and boost your traffic, you need to follow SEO best practices, write more high-quality content and get backlinks. Follow those 3 things, and you can't go too far wrong. Here's a video running through the results 👇

  17. No problem @Ziggy! Hope all is well with you and Happy New Year!
  18. Hi everyone! SEO can be full of jargon and misinformation, and it can be hard to know where to start. That's why I brought together this 5 step guide to ranking on page 1 of Google. In short, the steps are: Getting your keyword research right Developing your SEO strategy Following on-page SEO best practices Writing page 1 worthy blog posts Getting backlinks The only thing I missed was connecting to Google Search Console, but check the video out below and let me know your thoughts!
  19. Hi @HayleyTitheradge - I've experienced this before (I have a travel blog on Squarespace, which makes me side income), so don't stress too much as it can be resolved 🙌 I've looked at your site and really like your content - I can tell you put a lot of effort into it. A few people have raised the SQSP indexing problem before, but I think, in general, it's not a problem with Squarespace; it's just that SEO can take time, and quality content and backlinks don't come overnight. Here's a couple of things I noticed which might help: Content length: I looked at https://www.kind-living.com/journal/what-is-circular-fashion and compared it to what ranks on page 1 for "what is circular fashion", and your article was shorter than most of them. While you should prioritize value over length, if everything on page 1 is 2,000 words+ (for example), then you will likely have to match it to rank. This isn't always the case, but it could be why. Manually requesting indexing: Have you manually requested GSC indexes your blog posts? Additionally, you can "Test Live URL" on GSC to see if anything 'technically' is holding you back. Backlinks and referring domains: I know you're aware of this, but attached is Ahref's overview of your site - it's not picking up many backlinks yet, so Google might not be. I recommend focussing more on this than content in the next month or so. On-page SEO: SEOSpace is in maintenance right now gearing up for V2 launch, so I can't test your on-page myself unfortunately sorry! But, I noticed some of your blogs could have more internal links, which helps Google discover other pages on your site. I have a few resources I can send over, which I think will really help - let me know and if you have any questions.
  20. Hi @tempotouring - don't worry, you're not alone here! Sometimes Google displays information incorrectly - I've added a graphic which explains some reasons why your site isn't displaying properly or at all on Google. I've also just run a scan on your site with SEOSpace and saw you haven't filled in your SEO description on your homepage (check the image below) - your SEO description should be 150-160 characters long, and is the snippet of text that traditionally sits where you currently have the text in the red box. You can fill this in the SEO settings of each page - if it's empty, Google will pick up text on the web page to display instead, which it's doing in your case. If the above doesn't work, the below might also be a problem: Google Search Console - have you connected this and submitted your sitemap Lack of content value - if you haven't got >300 words on each page that's high-quality, Google is less likely to display you on search engines correctly Lack of backlinks - if your site doesn't have many links from other sites, Google will be less likely to "crawl" your site more often and display you currently Brand new site - if your site is new, displaying on Google correctly will take time
  21. Thanks @paul2009! Seen you answer so many questions; cool to finally be on the receiving end! Appreciate all the hard work you do.
  22. Hi everyone, I pay for 9 seats but only have/need 6 users on Google Workspace (within Squarespace). Is there a way to delete 3 seats and get a refund for those? Thank you in advance! Henry

Hi @EQLIFESUE - I've used it and tried its features. It's great if you have an eCom site, as it'll automatically compress your product features. Other than that, some of its features aren't Squarespace-specific (as it's originally a Shopify app), so you might face some difficulties. For example, it has a JPG to Webp converter, but you can't use Webp on Squarespace.
  24. Thanks for the shoutout @Ziggy! What limitations are you specifically referring to @areejsajid? That way, I can best help out and provide recommendations.
