The new SEO tools are nice but since page speed is one of the most relevant aspects you should do something about slow loading. Just a few examples of what Googles PageSpeedInsights tell me: Eliminate render-blocking resources. Estimated savings: 4.19 s Details: Resources are blocking the first paint of your page. Consider delivering critical JS/CSS inline and deferring all non-critical JS/styles. Hi everyone! I am fairly new to Squarespace. Our company is currently creating a new website, which is basically just a front to our cloud based software. The website is being run on squarespace servers, but our software is run on our own servers. This means if our servers are taken down for maintenance etc. we could probably monitor that the server is up or down and show it to users trying to log on through our squarespace website. Has anyone done this before? Is there any code we can use to monitor if the site is up or down and show it through text or image on our site? Any help would be great, thanks!
I have noticed odd behaviour on Brine templates, on iOS 13.2.2. It looks like this: Text links work as expected, e.g. hover effects, and the linked page loads quickly. Buttons, however, suffer a delay when clicked before the hover effect kicks in, and then another delay before the linked page starts to load. Sometimes, the button shows clicked state but nothing happens until another click. I can see that on some of these clicks, Safari using location services (location services arrow goes solid for a second when the button is clicked). This happens on my site: https://www.wayfarenursing.com as well as other Brine-based sites that I've tried out. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?
