Formatting captions in gallery section

Has no one found a way to format text in captions in the gallery section?  I need to italicize titles for art work.  I see others have added code to make it work but surely this must be an issue for any artist using the gallery section and being a coder shouldn't be a requirement.  

Add to Design > Custom CSS

.gallery-caption *, .gallery-caption {
	font-style: italic !important;
}

Thank you.  I added this and it italicized the whole caption.  I just need to the title italicized.

The caption / description in a 7.1 gallery section will accept some basic HTML tags, so you can just wrap the titles in italics tags

@sbickley In case you aren't aware, using HTML in titles and descriptions is not a documented feature. Squarespace are steadily tightening up on flaws and loopholes that allow HTML so this workaround may stop working at any time and display the tags instead.
