sbickley Posted January 27 Share Posted January 27 Has no one found a way to format text in captions in the gallery section? I need to italicize titles for art work. I see others have added code to make it work but surely this must be an issue for any artist using the gallery section and being a coder shouldn't be a requirement. Link to comment

Solution iamdavehart Posted January 28 Solution Share Posted January 28 The caption / description in a 7.1 gallery section will accept some basic HTML tags, so you can just wrap the titles in italics tags <i>Spring Beauty</i>, 2022, Painted Aluminium, 51x48 inches Dave Hart. Squarespace are steadily tightening up on flaws and loopholes that allow HTML so this workaround may stop working at any time and display the tags instead.
