I'd like to add a sidebar to the default products page

This is a standard built-in feature on many Squarespace 7.0 templates. However, your site is using Developer Mode so it's difficult to know which template it was based on.

If the feature exists on your site, you'll find the category navigation option in Design > Site Styles . You'll find a Show Category Navigation and Products: Sort + Filter tweaks.

It's based on the Adirondack template.

I thought it was built in too, but Design > Site Styles is empty. :-/

Adirondack has a Category Navigation feature, so if it's missing, someone has deleted it using Developer Mode.

Disabling developer mode does bring back the styling options and the Category Navigation.

But the categories only appears in the main navigation. I need it in a sidebar and only on the products page.
I'm guessing I need to first customise the layout of the products page (which I can't find a way to do), and then add a list of autogenerated categories (which I also can't find a way to do...).

Any other ideas?
