  1. Hello, I started off with the Bedford template. On the 'ABOUT' tab on the navigation bar, I have a dropdown side bar with links to 4 different pages: 'OUR PRINCIPLES' / 'OUR PROCESS' / 'OUR EXPERIENCE' / 'COLLABORATION'. When viewing the sidebar / dropdown on either desktop or tablet, the sidebar spacing is centered perfectly fine. But when you view on a mobile device, the links are off center (text is much closer to the top of the surrounding box than the bottom). See attached screen shot from a phone, which highlights the issue. Greatly appreciate if anyone could help me out with this query: My website is https://www.candelastudio.co.uk/ Thanks - Candela Studio
  2. Hello! Anyone has a CC so that the side menu bar and its pages stack up left centred, instead of middle centred as it is now?
  3. Hi, I am trying to run 2 blogs with each of them having their own corresponding archive in the sidebar. But when I change the the sidebar for blog A with archive A, then the same archive A is shown in blog B. If I try do do it the other way around it has the same effect. Though I can display both archives in both blogs but always with the same order, which is also not a satisfying solution. If anyone has an idea how to solve this, I would appreciate to get a feedback on the matter. Thanks a lot. Cheers Goetz
  4. Hi, I'm a complete novice with Squarespace. I'm using Flatiron and pages have a kind of sidebar along the left which contains the page title and description. I'd like to remove this so that my content can be full width, but can't work out what this is called (I'm aware actual sidebars are a different thing) and how to remove it. I want to use Flatiron because I like the design of the home page and it doesn't seem like you can get the same layout with a different template. I'm hoping it doesn't involve coding as I am very bad at this. Is this just something that can't be disabled in Flatiron?
  5. I have been having quite a hard time trying to add a link above my blog title that takes you back to the blog list page. Sort of like a "back to posts" link so that it's easy for the reader to go back and forth from the list to each individual post. Upon seeing that I could not put blocks above the title I tried putting this link on the sidebar and putting the sidebar on the left with this custom CSS: #rightSidebar { float: left; width: 202px; } I thought maybe I had finally come to a solution, but then when taking another look at the blog post list, I saw that the sidebar is still on each post on the list.. for me that makes a link that says "back to posts" on every single post in the list page... Does anyone know a way to disable the sidebar ONLY when in list view? Better yet does anyone know a way to add blocks above the title for each individual post? I'm just hitting a lot of walls here. Thanks in advance. Here is the site.
  6. Hello! Using the Montauk template. Would like a sidebar on the main blog page (which lists the various posts) BUT would like sidebar to go away once you navigate to a specific blog post, and would like for that post to again take over the whole width.
  7. Hi there, I have a blog using the Kent template. It looked fine until a week ago. Now the "Archive " Sidebar on the right (the sidebar that lists the previous blog posts by date) is CENTERED on the Home page! ... but is still LEFT-ALIGNED on the Blog post pages. Look here: www.scitecpov.com thanks!
  8. Curious if anyone has accomplished this cleanly, I want to set up a page/section that functions essentially identical to the squarespace support site: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206544057-Creating-an-index-for-recipes-or-other-content Essential a table of contents/ documentation type of layout for users to read through a large guide of how to do something!
  9. I am using the Bedford template and I used code injection to make the side navigation bar fixed. However, when you scroll down on the page, one of the longer page titles becomes one-lined instead of two-lined, making it extend into the page content. Is there something I can do so that it stays one-lined? Thank you! Check it out here: https://www.transformativems.com/project-portfolio-management-ppm
  10. Hello, I am using the Wells template, because i want the navigation as a sidebar. I would like to make the site title font bigger than what the template lets me do in style editor. When i change the site title font size in style editor noting happens, the size seems locked in some way. Is it possible to change this with a CSS code? I imagine this being a very simple coding, but i haven't found a solution when searching, and i do not really know anything about CSS myself. Also, i would like the dropdown navigation folders to have a different color than the rest of the navigation, so i also need a code for this, if possible.. Site URL(still in development): https://iguana-avocado-le77.squarespace.com
  11. I was using the Bedford template for my website and switched to the Harris template. I really liked the feature on Bedford where there are links to other pages in a folder available on the side of the screen and I want to include that on my new website. However, it seems that a secondary side navigation option is not a simple add-on. I don't want to recreate everything in a different template, so is there some sort of custom CSS or anything I can do to add a side navigation bar? Thanks!
  12. heres what im trying to do https://peteforamerica.com/issues/
  13. Hey, I'm using Squarespace 7.1 & I can't seem to find a way to include a sidebar on my blog posts. Am i missing something or is this not possible?
  14. Can you turn the sidebar into a horizontal thing instead of a side vertical thing?
  15. Can you remove the navigation sidebar from certain pages without premium ability to add CSS to individual pages?
  16. Hello, I would like to add a sidebar to my website that displays my review score from customers (its from a Dutch e-commerce organization). Sadly, they do not provide a module for Squarespace so I will have to insert the code myself. I do not have any coding experience so I have no idea how to approach this. I have tried it with code injection but it did not show up. Could anyone help me? I am using the Brine theme. This is the code that is provided to me: <script> (function() { _webwinkelkeur_id = ; //_webwinkelkeur_sidebar = true; //_webwinkelkeur_sidebar_position = "left"; //_webwinkelkeur_sidebar_top = "300"; //_webwinkelkeur_mobile = "bottom"; //_webwinkelkeur_tooltip = true; //_webwinkelkeur_language = ; //_webwinkelkeur_language_other = false; var js = document.createElement('script'); js.type = 'text/javascript'; js.async = true; js.src = '//www.webwinkelkeur.nl/js/sidebar.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(js, s); })(); </script> For webwinkelkeur_id I have to add my own personal code. Thanks so much!!
  17. I would like to divide my Squarespace 6 blog page into two columns, so that the blogging content is on the left, and there is a column on the right containing things like Twitter feeds and book recommendations. I can't find the "add block" option on the blog page though. How do I fix this? Thank you for your help.
