We are trying to soft launch a product on our page. Anyone have  good way to have an item show up via link, but not show in general listings? Or even better, have it password protected?

You can place the product in a separate products/store page.

Add the new products/store page in the UNLINKED section of PAGES. If you don’t want anyone to find it via search engines, go to the page’s SEO settings and choose Hide Page from Search Results. Alternatively set a password in the page’s settings.

Oh I was going to say copy the product link and then attach that to a linked text or a button😅. I can send ss of examples so it maybe could look better than me trying to exaplain it, you like @jwedding.
