Custom stores going to main site when hitting back button not just to their store page

After creating a custom store page for a client, when they hit the back button it takes them to our main site, not their main page of their store. How or can this be changed so that they go back to their page not our main site?

is there a way I can hide the drop downs (navigation) buttons that are static on the top bar but keep a LOGIN and QUOTE button?
