  1. I did try this and save it, perhaps I have it wrong?
  2. The text changed to black when I pasted the code in. I tried to add in the part of the code that was making the text white but it isn't working.
  3. This seems to be working! Can I ask if there is a way to change the text to white? Thank you!
  4. Yes! I believe this is what you meant. If not please let me know. Thank you for your help!
  5. Hi All! I am in the process of rebuilding my website and have solid gradients that each appear over an image upon hovering, I've lowered the opacity of the gradient (opacity .4) for my desired look on each but the problem is that it is also affecting the text that is on top of the gradient. I would like only the gradient opacity to be lowered and the text to stay at full opacity. Is there a way to add custom css so that when I lower the opacity of the gradient it does not affect my text on top of it? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! P.S I have included a screenshot of the problem and the customized css.
  6. Thanks for that suggestion, unfortunately I am still having the same problem.
  7. I get a menu that opens, in order for me to select the font file, but when I do for some reason there are no fonts from that folder to load.
  8. Hi Everyone, I am having a problem loading a custom font into my custom css menu, I am trying to upload a .ttf (Dosis-Regular) but for some reason it is not showing up as an option for me to load. I'm not sure if this is worth noting but the font works fine when typing in programs. Any help would be appreciated! -G Font Link: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Dosis Website link: https://www.ginapagnotta.com/
  9. Thanks for the suggestion! However this doesn't solve the problem. Following the steps you listed, the hover effect was not disabled, adding black to the button background just helped to hide it. When I hovered over the edited button there was still a hover effect in place. I have managed to fix this problem from another solution posted, thank you for your help!
  10. Yes, that is the effect I would like to remove. I am planning on changing the button to text links where the arrow will be at the end of the word to indicate that the text is linked to another page. I was just curious about how to disable the effect anyways.
  11. I can! Thanks for the suggestion! However, I would still like to try getting rid of the effect as well.
  12. Hi All! I am in the process of rebuilding my website and I'd like to remove the hover effect on all the button on my website. I've tried some CSS solutions but they don't seem to be working. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! Here's my site: https://www.ginapagnotta.com/
