  1. Site URL: https://nyf.squarespace.com/ password nyf2022 I am trying to make a sidebar design element on a long scrolling page and do not want the bar to get too wide. When I set the image to "fit" it works well on desktop but not on mobile, whereas "fill" is perfect on mobile but not desktop. Is it possible to customize CSS to make both work at once? See the Announcements and Reports section at the bottom of the homepage. Thanks!
  2. Site URL: https://www.joannahowrites.com/home-copy Would like to change the text color to white on the first slide in this banner slideshow. Would love the ability to vary the color theme of each slide, or just make the first slide have white text so that it stands out. Any insight? https://www.joannahowrites.com/home-copy password: jhwrites
  3. @bangank36 you're right! So sorry, it wasn't showing up in the editor. Thank you! I'm going to try to change them to the simple white arrows and see if it works.
  4. I added it, then deleted it because it wasn't working. I have added it back now. @bangank36
  5. Thank you @bangank36! Unfortunately that didn't work for me. What I want to do is just have the bigger more modern arrows (just the carrot portion, no line, like yours), in white, no background.
  6. Site URL: https://synthesizer-walrus-32m7.squarespace.com/ I do not have the option to change my full-width banner slideshow navigation to bullets, should there be? I would love to utilize bullets/dots along the bottom, but if I cannot, I would like to use the following arrows. https://static1.squarespace.com/static/619c05e7c65d110b22fc36b7/t/61a96d3eac58a7191231a081/1638493502171/arrows.png Can anyone help me figure this out? The slideshow is on the homepage here: https://synthesizer-walrus-32m7.squarespace.com/ pass: lcnyc Thanks in advance!
  7. Tuanphan, Sure, here is one https://www.rockycoastacupuncture.com/journal/dietary-therapy-for-fertility-support and here is the other https://www.rockycoastacupuncture.com/journal/the-acupuncture-approach-to-diagnosing-fertility-issues Thank you 🙂
  8. Tuanphan, thank you 🙂 I have 2 authors and each have a different link, is it possible to specify for each? Additionally, is there a way to enlarge the photo and move it to the left without moving the name with it?
  9. Site URL: https://www.rockycoastacupuncture.com/journal/the-acupuncture-approach-to-diagnosing-fertility-issues I am working in 7.1 and looking to change the author link (that links to list of all posts by this author) at the bottom of each post in the author bio to link instead to the author's full bio in the About section. We currently have 2 authors and they would each have their own link. If this is not possible, I would like to remove this link completely. Additionally I want to enlarge the photo. Bonus points if I can enlarge and move the photo to the left of the bio text—while the author name remains where it is. Is there a way to do this?
  10. That seemed to work on the preview, but doesn't hold up when saved, the mobile header bar is still the cream color, so I reverted back. Any other thoughts on how to tackle that mobile menu header so that it is solid blue on mobile, but doesn't affect the transparency on desktop?
  11. I think I got this to work by adding the following custom CSS: For the header background color: @media screen and (max-width:640px) {.tweak-transparent-header .header .header-announcement-bar-wrapper:not(.shrink):not(.transparent-header-theme--override) { background-color: #2f4e98 !important; } } For the bottom piece with CTA button: .header-menu-cta { background-color: #2f4e98; } For the middle section with Nav items: .header-menu-nav-folder-content { background-color: #2f4e98; } And to change the hamburger/X icon colors: .burger-inner:after { background: #fff !important; } .burger-inner:before { background: #fff !important; }
  12. Tuanphan, Thank you for your help!! I added that, but I believe it just changed the menu icon color. I prefer the white hamburger on the homepage, but left as is so you can see. I think I'm looking to change .header-announcement-bar-wrapper dark but when I try to use that in the CSS, it doesn't work. Thanks!
  13. Hi, I am trying to style the mobile menu on a new site in 7.1. Wow, very frustrating that this is not an option! First, I am just confused where the default styles are inherited from. Second, I have figured out how to change the background color of the middle and bottom portions of the mobile menu with custom CSS, but I have not had success changing the top header piece (I ultimately want the whole background of the menu to be completely blue #2f4e98, with white type and the button as is). Third, is it possible to specify a different logo (full color) for mobile if I were to stick with the cream background? Site is live at: https://rootds.com Thanks! Melissa
