Parker_SQSP
Check out everything new that happened at Squarespace in July below. Commerce and Payments An improved experience for accepting donations Recurring donations: You can now set up weekly and monthly donations to give donors the option to donate continuously. Customers will need to create a customer account when submitting recurring donations if they don’t already have one. Donation block: The longstanding donation block got a refresh with more design flexibility and options for providing more information to donors. You can change the layout of the block, including the buttons’ style, and include descriptions for each suggested donation amount. Please note, existing donation blocks will not be updated automatically. To use the new block, existing donation blocks must be deleted and replaced with the new ones. Donations dashboard: The new Donations dashboard shows you a snapshot of how your fund is performing. You can see the number of total contributions and the amount of donations revenue you’ve received. Learn more about the donations block and managing donations. Lower transaction fees with ACH & Squarespace Payments Sellers who use Squarespace Payments can now accept ACH payments for transactions of $250 or more. ACH is a secure payment method that transfers funds between bank accounts. Sellers can benefit from a 1% transaction fee for ACH payments. Please note, ACH payments are only available in the U.S. Learn more about accepting ACH with Squarespace Payments. Build trust with your customers with the HelpfulCrowd extension While you can display product reviews on your online store using Squarespace’s native features, the HelpfulCrowd extension can help you collect and display more. After connecting HelpfulCrowd to your site, you can automate review requests emails and display reviews from different platforms together on your site. Displaying product reviews can help build trust with prospective customers and empower them to purchase your products and services. Squarespace Extensions are vetted third-party tools that help you manage, optimize, and expand your site. Learn more about Squarespace Extensions and HelpfulCrowd. Email Campaigns New automatic protection for sender profiles Recent changes to DMARC policies require that email campaigns be sent from a verified custom email address to avoid spam filters. This means that marketing emails sent from free email providers (e.g. @yahoo.com, @gmail.com, etc.) will likely end up in spam folders. To avoid this, we created a unique subdomain for your sender profiles automatically–no action is required. Email campaigns will now come from [youremail]@[six random alphanumeric characters].sqspmail.com. Customer notification emails will now come from [your.email.freedomain.com]@squarespace.info. To change the email address your email campaigns are sent from, we recommend using a custom domain email address. If you don’t have one yet, you can register a domain and get a custom email address through with Squarespace Learn more about sender details. Websites Style your cookie banner You can now style your cookie banner with the color themes that match your site. Further, you can choose which consent options to display on the banner and style the buttons to your liking. This is a longstanding request from our international customers and helps us better comply with industry standards. Learn more about cookie banner settings and adding a cookie banner. CDuMez
Recurring donations! Nice addition. That's for 7.1 only...and I'm hoping it will also come to 7.0 sites (or that 8.0 will drop soon, and have the features I need). doctocytot 1 Link to comment
