Add descriptions to products on the shop page

Is there a way to add the product description on a shop page between the price and 'add to cart' button?

Squarespace does not support this effect natively.

It might be possible with JavaScript to do what you want but I don't know of any code that does this.

Does that mean that I would need a plugin? Is there another way to do it with blocks?

There is also no way to include the product description in the product blocks so that customers can easily see what they are adding to their cart.

Store Pages (or "Product List Pages") don't include a product description but it is possible to list products and include a description by using a Summary Block instead.
