Top banners on our site display as cropped when their direct link is searched

Help!

The top banners on our site’s pages display as cropped when their direct link is searched.

Examples:

• berkeleypottersstudio.org/sally-jo-dinwoodie
• berkeleypottersstudio.org/tali-reicher

If you reload the page after clicking on the link it will then display correctly.

Squarespace support said that it seems that the code we've added to the Link in our Secondary Navigation is causing this issue on our site.

But when I remove the <strong></strong> code it still happens. 

Can anyone help us please! We're a nonprofit and don't have funds to designate to figuring this out.
