How to capture UTM parameters in Squarespace form hidden fields

Recommended Posts

Posted

I would like to capture the UTM parameters from the URL and store it in the hidden fields in the Squarespace form. Since Squarespace only supports and accept URL parameters starting with "SQF_", I am unable to capture the UTM.

Please let me know, if there is a way to handle this.

Thanks.

Hi @Deepak0706,

I understand your challenge here - this isn't something we've specifically done before - Squarespace doesn’t natively support UTM parameters. However, we've done some research and found some potential resources that might help:

  • You might consider using a third-party tool like Attributer. It can help you achieve your goal.
  • Here’s another helpful resource that may help you achieve this. It talks about replacing utm_source with sqf_source to pass it to Squarespace.

Additional Resource:

Thanks,
