URL is not available to Google

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm very new to this and learning on the go. I've run into this issue in google search console when I've tried to "Request Indexing" on any of my links, and then "View Live Test". I receive this error message:

In addition I'm getting 'robots.txt failed fetch' error as well.

Let me know if I need to include anymore helpful information.

Thanks!

Your website URL would be useful. How long has the website and domain been connected and live?

Google search typically doesn't index a website for the first 3-6 months so that may be the problem. As your website has only been live for a couple of weeks that may be why it's not scraping correctly, have you uploaded your sitemap to Google Search Console?

Yep, I included restorationimplant.com/sitemap.xml

That's where I'm getting this message:

And that's where I explore each individual page and select "Inspect URL" I get that previous error message.

Would a timing issue give me those errors? From the way I'm reading it, my understanding is that Google just can't correctly access those pages? Sorry, I'm very new to this!

"Discovered - currently not indexed" is a pretty common thing to see, Google can see your page which is good, but it's not making the pages available for search yet - obviously not so good.

SEO is about convincing Google your content is worth offering up in search results, one good way you can do that is the have lots of backlinks from authoritative sources. Not an easy thing to achieve, but there are ways,ve a read of this guide:
