No automatic invoice sent after item purchased in shop

Hi there

I am wondering, why my clients don't get an automatic invoice after purchasing items in the online shop?!
Why is that, or can I set it up anywhere? The confirmation email is not enough.

You can edit the Order Confirmation email to include all the necessary information to allow the email to function as an invoice, such as your your tax registration/VAT ID, company name and so on. The minimum requirements for an invoice differ from country to country. For details of how to customise emails, see Customer email notifications.
