Adding reservation system behind custom map plugin

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone.

I've been trying to customise the advancedmaps plugin by SquareWebsites  - unfortunately a few things are out of my skillset.

I've attached a quick video of a mockup example of what my client is wanting, as well as where I have currently got the functionality. So I'll try to explain it here, if it doesn't make sense I'll explain in more detail, but I've got most of it to work in their Squarespace site alright, just not clean.

- Map with multiple locations

- Each location has a unique ID (as can be seen in video)

- Clicking on pin brings up info shown in video

- When form is filled out and submitted ("reserved"), the pin will disappear from the map (be hidden). I've managed to build the frontend form with html, but it isn't functional.

- After submitting the form, a new tab will be launched with a third-party url (that's the end of our duties).

I have been told that the plugin I have been using won't be able to actually book the location - so I will most likely need a second API behind it as a reservation system. I'm looking at options, Aquity looks great but is probably out of budget for them. I'm hoping something like Calendly can be integrated?

Thanks in advance!
