  1. Hi, I'm trying out square space for a B&B website. The Square-space trial deactivates the booking button so i cant examine the interface. Are there examples of real world hotel or B&B sites using a Squarespace template so that I could see this in action? thank you Paul
  2. Hello Community. I would truly value your time in helping me. You knowledge and experience is very helpful. I'm feeling overwhelmed reconciling my needs with available functionality in SS Scheduling and payment processors. I have read most of the self-help under "scheduling" and "payment" in the SS manuals. I'm not reaching out without spending my own time first trying to understand practical application. My Business: High-volume service business (Photo/Video with appointments ranging from 1 to 4 hours.) I want to streamline booking and payment, both for my peace of mind and convenience of my clients. I have decided to use Stripe. For accounting, I have decided to use QuickBooks. Questions & Scenarios: Do any of you have an efficient way to account for Stripe processing fees requiring little time and effort? I'm considering not refunding clients for cancellations within 24 hours and issuing a coupon towards a later appointment. Does anyone not issue refunds only offering coupons for future bookings like some organizations? What's the thought behind this? Do you recommend? How do you handle cancellations, specifically how do you manage them with SS Scheduling? How does Quickbooks account for this? Example: (In this scenario, I've decided I will always reimburse a customer the full amount, but charge a cancellation fee.) A customer books. I arrive. They're a no-show, or cancel same-day. When they booked, they were charged $100. The cancellation fee is $25. Do you issue the refund through Quickbooks or Stripe or SS? When you refund the $75 and keep the $25, how do you account for this? Is it automated within Quickbooks? Again, the most important overriding principle is to maintain efficiency both for myself and the customer. My original idea was to have a client go online, book, pay, I arrive. Nothing is this simple however. I want something that's seamless and fair for both myself and my time and my potential clients. Thank you in advance Zach
  3. Hi, I'm looking to find out if a quanitity can be added to Squarespace Scheduling in some easy way!? The website is for a historical building that will provide tours for individuals and groups at a set rate per person. So the customer needs to be able to book a date but also add how many people will be on the tour so the payment updates correctly for them to make the booking. Maybe be a simple way to do it but I just can't see it... Any ideas and help!? Thanks, Paul.
  4. Hi, I'm new to Squarespace, and trying to understand where to limit my expectations. I have a requirement to display a series of events, by date, event name, and cost. I would like to be able to implement filters/sorts to enable control of the records displayed due to the volume of events over a calendar month (up to 100). I'd also like to be able to toggle the detail of events on and off depending on what the user clicks on. If I were doing this in WP I would use a calendar plug in to show what dates there are events, and highlight dates where I've booked an event. The attached may help you visualise the end result. Is any of this possible in Squarespace with CSS? Many thanks in advance for your help!
  5. Hello all! I have a client asking to build a site for his rental car business. Is it possible to create location and other filters? Should I set up an ecomm with the vehicles available? How to deal with dates/Booking? Functionalities he needs integrated: location filter (city & state), multiple pricing (leasing & daily rates), etc. He is also looking into integrating Subscriptions for other renters to list their listings on his site. The idea is that the site has a third-party booking software, and this third party told us they can't do something about it for now. Their booking widget / calendar is a short embedded code only.   8. Hello, I need to add the client's business location to Scheduling for her customers' confirmation emails. I've updated the location in Availability > Calendars > Calendar Settings > Location. When I preview the confirmation email, it still shows "call in info or location." Is this going to display the location I put into the calendar settings, or is there anything else I need to do? Site URL: http://www.thebagboyz.com I need to make the scheduling block embed within the checkout page, OR embed it onto the form at checkout, OR redirect to scheduler after checkout, OR force the site to first go through scheduling page before checkout. Anything before payment would probably make the user experience a great one... It just has to prompt the customer in a seamless way. Whichever is easier on the backend but still allows me to tweak the Scheduling every once in a while... I am helping a client build essentially a (shipt/instacart to a very small microarea) and we have to be able to deliver (with rules) and add tip-- both for which the Acuity Scheduler accomodates. Right now my custom form has scheduling times for a customer to choose from that doesn't work well, but it doesn't have the constraints that I need like the Scheduler does.

My "Book a Consultation" page allows users to schedule in their own appointments with us and pay the consultation fee upon booking. This function is facilitated via Calendly. The problem is, everytime you visit the consultation page the calendar schedule doesn't load until you hit refresh again. My concern is that users aren't necessarily going to know this and won't follow through with the sale. We're trying to streamline the booking process but, this is just turning prospects away. Grateful for any tips and advice! (Attached is an image of what happens when clicking the 'Book a Consultation' under the Contact Us menu tab; followed by the image of what should appear without hitting refresh).

  12. Hi, Has anyone been able to use the booking calendar from airbnb to sync with scheduling on their site? I want to be able to sync both airbnb, vrbo and squarespace calendars to avoid double bookings. I can embed the airbnb posting but that is not what I am wanting to do. I want to sync the dates and allow for bookings directly through squarespace website as well as the other two sites.

I want to have the checkout happen on our website itself without redirecting to Lodgify. For this, I've created a new sub-domain with my domain provider (Google) and linked it to Lodgify, but I am getting an error there...has anyone done this before? Would appreciate some pointers. I teach paint parties and would like to simplify the process. it would go something like this: Step 1: choose the painting Step 2: pick a date step 3 : tell me if its virtual or in person Step 4: how many people are attending Step 5: pay the invoice Currently I made a page with images and buttons but I am finding it wouldn't make sense to create a check out page for each item. Entered a custom code into the Advanced section of my Book Now page and it shows on my page but sits underneath my Header which means I can't access my third party booking bot. I did also try adding it directly onto the page but had no success there. PeekPro provides an APi to put in the header and code to insert. When I add the code I get a "spinning circle" as if system is trying to connect, but with no success. Has anyone been able to integrate PeekPro? If so, how to I add the code for each of my Tours?

  24. Hello there. I apologize if this has been answered previously. I tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything helpful. Using Squarespace's scheduler, I am offering weekly recurring group classes. I would love to allow clients to enroll in the group classes after the initial start date, without having to manually delete classes that have already taken place. I am aware there is there is the option to sign up for classes individually, but it would be a hassle for clients to sign up every single time. Appreciate any help. Thank you!

Additionally I'd like to track user behavior for Scheduling interactions, we have the Google Analytics code implemented but I don't think it can track the Scheduling pages. Thanks for any feedback!
