Integrating POS system with Squarespace

If they are based in the US, they can use Squarespace POS but if they are based elsewhere, there aren't any POS systems that are 'compatible with Squarespace'.

If they intend to use Squarespace Commerce, the best they can achieve is to use a third party subscription service like Trunk Inventory to synchronise stock levels Squarespace and a third party POS solution like Square. In all honesty, this is more of a workaround than a solution because although it will sync stock levels, store admin will be doubled because product information like titles, descriptions, prices and colours won't be synchronised; it will need to be edited on both systems independently. An alternative solution is to do it in reverse by using Square commerce and then embedding their "buy buttons" in a Squarespace website, but this is far from ideal.

If they are based outside the US and they need an 'integrated' solution for both in-person and online sales, they should probably look at Shopify, although I wish this wasn't the case.
