Need help with domain

Hello

I have a youtube channel and a website built out at squarespace. I wanted to add a shopify banner to the Youtube change and misunderstood the process and ended up transferring the domain to shopify. Now my webpage is down as the domain points to shopify. How do I get it to point back to my squarespace site? I'd transfer back but there's a 60 day waiting period and I can't wait that long. I was also thinking about temporarily changing the domain just to have the site up and running until I can bring it back. Any ideas? Thanks

I am not sure about shopify, but with many domain hosting sites, you can edit the DNS and CNAME records, and point the domain to a third party, in this case, the third party is Squarespace. The domain would remain with Shopify but point to your Squarespace site. If shopify allows this, it takes hours instead of 60 days to implement.

and the cname records for squarespace are here:

shopify is not on the list but that doesn't mean it can't be done, it isn't a connection that I have seen done before.
