Has Squarespace abandoned 7.1?

Serious question, is Squarespace no longer primarily a website design company? It feels like after the change to 7.1, everything has been stagnant.

We never got video galleries back. 

Video pages are okay, but don't support Vertical, and not the same as galleries. 

We got Fluid Engine, but that has been pretty brutal. 

I don't see the point of being limited to Font Styles for the entire website after the release of Fluid Engine. 

I know they released Blue Print today,  not sure what the is for or what is different about it. 

I'm sure there are a lot more pain points that I haven't listed.
