How to make Blog Featured Image unclickable

hello! i would like to make the featured images in my blog page unclickable.

i upgraded to a business plan to insert custom CSS code, but it didn't work. pls help!

Add the following to Blog Settings > Advanced > Page Header Code Injection for the blog page. Please see per-page code injection.

  .blog-masonry .image-wrapper {
  
    pointer-events : none;
    
    }
    
  </style>

This is for v7.1.
