Glans
Site URL: https://www.upplevbatlivet.se Hi! Something has happened so that "boxes" appear (and disappear quickly) around the header menu buttons and around the header when I click on them to go to a subpage. Anyone know why and if there is a way to fix it? Difficult to describe but look at the pictures... /Jennifer Link to comment
paul2009
The boxes in the screencast above are called the "focus outline" and they appear when you move around the site using the keyboard. It is an essential navigation tool for visitors with vision and movement disabilities so please don't try to disable it. The contrasting black outline is added to the area of the page that has focus. Removing focus outlines can create issues for people navigating the web with a keyboard, and isn't recommended. In some territories, there are legal stipulations for accessibility so removing accessibility features may cause legal issues for the website owner. Glans
Thanks a lot for the explanation! I am not using the keyboard though, only the mouse, and most other websites do not have this... So is this a Squarespace issue? Link to comment
