  1. I'm trying to get several horizontal lines on my site to be full width, not all of them. I am using #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1631810515381_17071 { width: 100% !important; } to target a specific one, but it only extends to the right and not the left I tried targeting hr as well and it didn't work Ideally I'd like to have two lines in some places a few pixels apart, I've attached a screen shot I've tried using #block-yui_3_17_2_1_1631812436781_3916 {width: 100% !important; padding-top: -100px !important;} as well and I'm not seeing any movement. How do you target the specific lines to be full bleed? site is https://flugelhorn-seahorse-lzrb.squarespace.com/ pw: design123
  2. Site URL: https://fireflyfuture.squarespace.com Hello there, I am having trouble with reducing the padding around the lines. I've chatted to SS chat and they can't help me with the CSS and hoping I might be able to get some help here. //reduce line padding in table// .sqs-block-horizontalrule { height: auto !important; padding-bottom: 0px !important; padding-top: 7px !important; position: relative !important; } This works when I have CSS edit open but when I hit save and refresh my page it goes away šŸ˜ž Any help would be greatly appreciated. I found this worked*** .sqs-block-content hr { margin-top: -10px !important; } .sqs-block-horizontalrule { margin-bottom: -30px !important; }
  3. Site URL: https://coverkitchen.squarespace.com Hello, how can I add a separator line between specific items in a navigation drop drown menu? I would like to adjust the space between the line and the items too. See attached a screenshot of what I am trying to achieve. Many thanks in advance! Xavier
  4. Hi there, Looking for help with some custom CSS for an ecommerce site. Iā€™m looking to remove the grey horizontal line and reduce the font size of the category titles. šŸ™ƒ
  5. I'm having an issue trying to "mask" or make horizontal line blocks on my website landing main page and shop so the page looks cleaner and minimalistic: Basically I want to get rid of the thin horizontal line on the top of my shop page. If possible, I would also like to eliminate or mask the small "SHIRT" (product category) at the top as well. Any suggestions would be welcome - thank you.
  6. Site URL: https://www.nickwaldinger.com/ Hello, I'm trying to add a 1 px white line to the bottom of my header (see screenshots attached; "NoBorder" is how it currently looks and "WithBorder" is how I'm trying to get it to look). I'd like it to go the full width of my site and be on all pages. My website is www.nickwaldinger.com and my site password is "create". Could someone help me? Thank you!
  7. Hi there, How can I change the font size in a line break on Squarespace? When you use "Shift + Enter" you can get a smaller line spacing. Just like this -> "Hello, hello." As you can see, the space between the previous sentences is smaller. In the above example, I would like to change the font size of the second line "Hello, hello". The issue is that if you change its size on Squarespace, the font size of the first line ("Just like this") also changes automatically. How can I change only the font size of the second line so that the first line stays the same size? Thanks so much.
  8. Site URL: https://frencholistic.com I'm creating a header for a category of my blog posts (it means that I will use it as a template for future posts) with a sort of table. When I'm in the edit mode, everything looks almost fine (almost because it seems that the three horizontal block lines cannot align 'perfectly'), but as soon as I save, the three lines do not align anymore. Does someone know how to get around this?
  9. Site URL: https://www.jenellekappe.com/blog I added a sidebar to my blog page, but I would like some sort of separation between the two. How can I add a vertical line that runs the entire length of the page?
  10. Site URL: https://selwyng.squarespace.com/config/ How do I remove the thin white line between my images on my homepage. I've tried everything but nothing seems to be working. The first line is between 'my objective is to create a unique...' and 'Logos, Marks & Logotypes'. The second line is between the image with my logos on and the Vela and Mali business card. Any help with this would be grateful, Thank you!
  11. Site URL: https://apricot-coconut-mf38.squarespace.com/ Been scouring the forums but everything I've copied/pasted has not worked. I have a client that is coming from a different platform who has very specific demands I haven't been able to meet with the default customization in Squarespace. I'm attaching an image of what they want. Here's how I would like to edit the layout of the header on the site: Lower the navigation items so their bottom edge is the same bottom edge as the logo Space out each navigation item so that they are not bunched to the right Insert a line below the header with white space below it Remove the line that active navigation items have For the footer: Align it to the left so it's left edge is in line with the logo Insert a line above the footer with white space Password: architect Completely at my wits end so any help would be appreciated šŸ™
  12. Site URL: https://www.relativelygenealogy.com/blog/Blog%20Post%20Title%20One-e8l8p I'm just setting up what I hope to be my blog post template. I've set up a side bar and would like to create a vertical line that separates the article body from the sidebar. Is there any way to set one up that starts from the top of the photo to the bottom of the article body? I was able to set up a vertical line but only with an exact measurement like 300px, but not one that will change with the size of the article depending on how much text is in it. Any help would be appreciated. https://www.relativelygenealogy.com/blog/Blog Post Title One-e8l8p
  13. Site URL: https://www.flyingpigvacations.com We are utilizing markdown to create an accordion style FAQ. Currently we have a horizontal line that is only half the text AND only shows up after you do the drop down. I want the line to be there prior to the drop down AND to be the full length of the text. The markdown code I am using is <script> $(document).ready(function(){ $('.markdown-block .sqs-block-content h4').css('cursor','pointer'); $(".markdown-block .sqs-block-content h4").nextUntil("h4").slideToggle(); $(".markdown-block .sqs-block-content h4").click(function() {$(this).nextUntil("h4").slideToggle();}); }); </script> Then in the actual markdown after each Q&A - i go to the next line and type <hr> the <hr> is what is creating the line. Any suggestions? site is flyingpigvacations.com password is goinglivesoon

  18. Site URL: https://www.daphnes.co.nz/ Hi there, Having trouble with the formatting of text links on the contact page, but on mobile only. When these links begin on a new line on mobile they have an extra space before the link - making it look like they are indented. See attached example. Also, this error doesn't appear when I'm on my browser and go 'Inspect' and view it at different mobile sizes - it only appears on an actual phone browser.. I am using custom css on the site and I have checked the relevant parts to see if they affect it but no luck so far. If anyone could take a quick look I would be so grateful! Please let me know if you need any more details. Thanks!
  19. Using Squarespace 7.1, I'd like to put a border with a thin line around a text blocks. Or around a poster image or any image block that has text and a button in it. Can someone help with the CSS on this? Like this and if possible a different selected background color. Thanks!
  20. Link to my website I noticed when updating my site today that using <.br.> (minus the periods) has totally stopped working in my site title as a line break and simply displays as normal text. I've replaced it with a | for now. It was never a good solution because it showed up in previews as text as well but at least it worked on the site.So, how do I create a line break now if this code is no longer accepted?
  21. Site URL: https://www.skoya.com/ Hi, Looking into adding underline to specific text link on squarespace 7.0 - Guess this goes against the current stream as all I'm finding online is how to remove the underline from links in 7.1 If anyone could help me resolve this I'd appreciate it.   22. Site URL: https://www.wildsouls.gr/en/ Hello! I am trying to recreate a favourite website for a Squarespace course I am on. I am trying to recreate their header, nav, logo and line situation. I have set the nav links, logo and cart all to the bottom of the header so that the image banner below shows through. I then coded in a border-bottom line. I want to create a break in the middle of this line so that it looks like the original site. Can anyone help me with the CSS code needed to do this? Or have I gone about this task in the wrong way altogether? This is the code I have added so far to style the header and logo. I have included images of what I have and what I am trying to achieve (logo in the middle of the line). .Header-inner, .Header-inner--bottom, .Mobile-bar--inner { border-bottom: 1.5px solid #222; padding: 10px } .Header-branding-logo { margin-bottom: -120px; }
