Display images from a gallery section in a summary block in 7.1

Hey everyone,

I would really like to display some images from this gallery page in a summary block on my home page. I read that in 7.1 summary blocks don't support gallery pages, but I was still wondering if anyone knows if this can be done somehow, or if anyone has found a cool way to do something similar without the need to manually create image sections and then update them whenever the gallery page is updated.

The best you can do is to use a gallery block layout that is similiar in look to a summary block, they share the same layout options in 7.1
