  2. Website is here: https://www.dp9community.com/ For some reason the summary blocks won't pull the header fonts used on the site. I don't see anything for changing the summary fonts in the "Assign Styles" section of the fonts in the new 7.1 Site Styles. You can see the font/color for the titles properly used here: https://www.dp9community.com/gear-up-blog/ Thanks!
  3. Hi there! I’m trying to create a summary block that points readers/users to other parts of my website. I have article pages, but they’re not designed as blog posts. I don’t have blog posts or products. Does anyone know how to create a summary block that points to regular pages of my site? In case it’s helpful, I’m using a 7.1 template. Thank you!
  4. Hi, I'd like to add little banners to the pricing table I've created via a summary-list at on of the places indicated by the pink arrows (for all items). I'm talking about hints like "best for independent learners" or "best for ... " which is common in pricing tables. I haven't found any suitable solution for this so far. page: https://luxlessons.lu/luxembourgish-language-course pw: abc143

  7. I'd like to remove "2023" from the time metadata on the summary block pictured below. password for page is teamreview. I'm sure it's possible with removing characters from the string w/ javascript but that's a bit beyond my capability. Maybe there's another method as well - CSS soluteion not possible as far as I can tell. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
  8. I need help with a code to change the arrow style and to move them, can anybody help me put this code together, I'm struggling to figure this out. ☹️ This is what I have so far: https://piccolo-antelope-5p6t.squarespace.com/you This is what I'm trying to achieve: This is the code I have so far; .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-block-setting-design-carousel .summary-carousel-pager { float: none; width: 90px; position: absolute; bottom: -12%; left: 50%; -webkit-transform: translate(-50%); -ms-transform: translate(-50%); transform: translate(-50%); -webkit-box-pack: center; -ms-flex-pack: center; justify-content: center; z-index: 9; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .next::before { color: #000; padding: 12px; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .previous::before { color: #000; padding: 12px;} Here are arrow links https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5c1b99c7a9e02801f6c9b9d0/t/5f7ecb8774815b7a1d7b677d/1602145159916/arrow-left-testimonials-6.png https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5c1b99c7a9e02801f6c9b9d0/t/5f7ecb98f9dae72f09a0ad46/1602145176384/arrow-right-testimonials-6.png
  9. Site URL: https://mcad-grad-exhibit.squarespace.com Hello, I have created a website with multiple individual pages that are each using a summary block to pull in graduates by category (this website is for a college graduation exhibit). Each graduates category is their major and the season they graduated. I would like to use the individual pages as the category pages because currently the link .../[blog name]/category/[category name] is uncontrollable visually. I want to use the individual pages so that for each major it says the major at the top of the page. Also the summary block I'm using has Lazy Summaries which allows me to view up to 100 grads. See an category page here: https://mcad-grad-exhibit.squarespace.com/graduates/category/Animation You can see that it says nothing at the top. I could add "Graduates" but if someone clicked on a major under one of the students names, it might be confusing if it doesn't say the major. See the individual page I made here: https://mcad-grad-exhibit.squarespace.com/animation You can see that it says "Animation" at the top. Ideally I would like to redirect the category slug to the simple slug I've created, the pages using the summary blocks. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. PW: grad2020
  10. Hey there, I have a few questions for whoever can assist! I appreciate your time 🙂 I am trying to achieve a similar carousel that Patagonia has going on. This is the link https://www.patagonia.com/stories/ I am wanting to move my arrows for my summary block carousel to look and function the same way Patagonia has theirs. I have most of the code in place, but it seems like I can't get my arrows in the right spot and the right arrow seems to be running into the container, resulting in it being cut off. Below is my code. Secondly, I am wanting to achieve the same single-scolling left-to-right that you can experience here: https://www.patagonia.com/stories/ Mine moves entirely instead of one column at a time. I am also looking to implement a color hover effect to the arrows. I am wanting it exactly as I have my scrolling up button in the bottom right hand of the website when you scroll down enough. I am having a hard time targeting and adding that hover affect to them. Here is the direct link to the page: https://commongroundbend.org/our-journal and the password to see it is "helpme" .................................... Here's my code so far: .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-container { overflow: visible; } //Summary carousel arrows .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-block-setting-design-carousel .summary-carousel-pager { float: none; width: 100%; position: absolute; bottom: 35%; left: 51%; -webkit-transform: translate(-50%,-50%); -ms-transform: translate(-50%,-50%); transform: translate(-50%,-50%); -webkit-box-pack: justify; -ms-flex-pack: justify; justify-content: space-between; z-index: 9; } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .next::before { background-color: #8abcce; color: #000; font-size: 20px !important; cursor: pointer; font-weight: bold; padding:24px 24px 24px 24px; border-radius: 50%; box-shadow: 1px 4px 5px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5); } .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .sqs-gallery-controls .previous::before { background-color: #8abcce; color: #000; font-size: 20px !important; color: #171717; cursor: pointer; font-weight: bold; padding:24px 24px 24px 24px; border-radius: 50%; box-shadow: 1px 4px 5px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5); }
  11. Site URL: https://www.drstephaniemoody.com/health-wellness Hi, I I'm struggling to find out how to create a set of visible sub-category buttons within a summary block page, and I found the exact example --> https://www.drstephaniemoody.com/health-wellness This website is also created by using Squarespace, and I'm curious how they added the category buttons that filters out the blocks. I have tried this by adding a text-section like this, linking each text-button : But the problem here is that when I click one of the linked buttons, the page refreshes.. Should I have to add a customized CSS to create this using Isotope? At first this seemed like a pretty easy problem to solve, but surprisingly I couldn't find a single solution to this til now.. Please Help! Thank you so much in advance. I'm hearing a lot about the Universal Filter, but I can't afford the price, would be appreciated if you could refrain from suggesting the item! Thanks.
  12. I'm wonder if its possible to set a character limit for summary block thumbnails? We're having titles running off the blocks in some places. We've set the character size to small, but am wondering theres any code to limit what displays on the summary
  13. I have two issues I would like to see if anyone knows how to solve, any help is much appreciated! First, I am wanting the summary block on my site to show no more than 3 entries per row. It does this when shown on a smaller screen, but once I view it on a larger desktop it extends to 4 entries per row. Is there any way to specify this? Second, I would like to decrease the side margins on the site when viewed on a desktop to prevent it from looking as stretched as it does now. Is there a way to just adjust the body margin rather than side margins? I basically just want the sides to increase as the site extends, with the content still centred to 3 entries per row in the summary block. https://ukulele-vibraphone-9ele.squarespace.com/ password: blackwatch Thanks!
  14. 15. Site URL: https://paloma-contreras-design.squarespace.com/ Is there a way to have the buttons on a summary block link out to an external URL instead of the internal blog page? https://paloma-contreras-design.squarespace.com/publications Pwd: PCD I'd like the button "Buy the Book" to link out to purchase the book.

  17. Hi! I use events page to list my upcoming concerts, and the put a summary of this on my homepage. The design seems a bit sloppy as the BUY TICKETS link I have made in excerpts for each event end up on different lines according to how much text is in the event title. I can of course make the layout uniform by keeping all titles the exact same lenght - but this is not always so easy to accomplish and if the screen/browser window size is smaller the BUY TICKET lines starts jumping further down if the title it long. Can I apply some CSS to fix this layout issue? site: https://dahlia-chameleon-xdem.squarespace.com/ pass: sketchingsound
  18. Hi there! I'm using a summary block to build my customer facing product store so that I can limit my displayed stock to exactly 30 products. Within the summary block, I am able to display product name, price, and image very easily, however I'm struggling to display dimension as it isn't a default piece of metadata that is integrated with the summary block. Each product has been given dimensions via .csv import under the "Width" and "Height" field, but I have no idea how to access and display that info. Clearly those fields are intended for use for shipping, but I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to access them through some sort of code. I just don't have much of an idea how to get at the data and display it in the summary block. Any ideas? The website page is here: www.twomoons.io/shop Thanks!
  19. Site URL: https://tomato-hibiscus-5kcf.squarespace.com/stories/born-to-lead Hello! I would like to include a summary block on my blog posts that links to "Related Stories" I can't seem to find a way to remove the current blog post from the summary block. I've tried some codes that I've found here, changing categories around etc, but none have worked for me. There are hundreds of stories and blog posts to transfer over so it would be very helpful if it was site-wide. Why this isn't an option from Squarespace, I don't know...Can anyone help me out? @tuanphan https://tomato-hibiscus-5kcf.squarespace.com/stories/born-to-lead password: Magnolia
  20. Hi! I wonder if anyone knows if it's possible to align summary block items to the bottom instead of the top as it seems to be the default. I don't see a native option for this. I'm attaching a screenshot. Bests, T
  21. Hello! I have some pages with a summary of products but there's an unexpected space at the end of the summary on mobile and I can't find how to get rid of it or why it is there. Appears on some pages but not all: https://www.rustique.uk/antique-plates Same page structure but no space: https://www.rustique.uk/antique-chargers-platters I use css to force a two columns display on mobile. Thanks for the help! Paul
  22. Hello, Does anyone know what determines the order that products are shown in, when using a summary block? It doesn't seem to be the order which they appear in the main shop, as if i move them there, it doesn't change the position when pulled to a summary block. it only changes the position in the main shop or category page. I have the lazy summaries installed so can order them by a-z which will do in a pinch, but am trying to figure out if there's something I can do when uploading the products to ensure that they appear how I want when pulled to a summary block. any insight greatly appreciated, thankyou.
  23. Hi, Is there a way to auto play and auto loop a summary block carousel? Right now I have it auto playing but it doesn't auto loop. The code below is what I am using. Thank you. <script> window.onload = function() { var nextArrow = document.querySelector(".summary-carousel-pager-next"); function clickNext() { nextArrow.click(); } setInterval(clickNext, 3000); }; </script>
  24. I have no coding skills but have managed to make some basic changes to the site via the custom css section by following peoples helpful snippets. This task though seems to have beaten me. I am trying to do two things. Firstly, i'd like to block the summary block title links on only the case study page which has been created with 3 summary blocks. Secondly, Id like to know how i can have individual read more links showing on some of the summary block case studies rather than just all or nothing across them all. Please can anyone help? Thx
  25. Hello, Ive managed to edit the width of my summary block using: /*Full Width Latest Updates*/ [data-section-id="617b1af343479318da6e7287"] .content-wrapper { max-width: 92%; padding-left: 0 !important; padding-right: 0 !important; } but I cant edit the height. I need to add some height as ive added a custom 'read more' button to the window as you can see in the screenshot, and currently it clips the button. How can I force the summary block to be vertically larger to ensure elements inside arent clipped? Im also confused as to how I get my button to hug the left side in line with its post, the code I am using for this is as follows. Ive tried to play around with values and code as well as changing the alignment, but it always looks broken so I left it centered for now. /*Hiding default read more in latest updates summary box*/ .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .summary-read-more-link { position: relative; visibility: hidden; } /*Creates new read more box in latest updates summary box*/ .sqs-gallery-design-carousel .summary-read-more-link::after { content: 'Read more'; background: transparent; color: black; padding: 20px 30px; left: 50%; position: absolute; transform: translate(-50%); visibility: visible; font-weight: normal; text-transform: capitalize; font-size: 14px; letter-spacing: 0em; margin-top: 50px; margin-bottom: 20px; border: 2px solid black; } Image 01 - shows how the summary box looks like on my standard 24" widescreen monitor. Image 02 - shows how the summary box looks like on my ultrawide monitor Image 03 - shows how I want it to look Thanks!
