  1. Site URL: https://www.richardalam.com/ Hello, hoping someone can help me with some CSS. I have a summary block with images on my homepage, and I'd like it to display as two columns on mobile. I've tried a few different code blocks on these forums, but none have worked as intended. Here's the link: https://www.richardalam.com/ Thank you in advance!
  2. Site URL: http://handprint.io Summary block (grid layout) on homepage is skipping the first position of the grid. It's displaying all the correct blog posts (currently set to 6), but starts on the middle column and leaves a white space where the first post should have been. I've tried changing all the settings within the summary block, but nothing fixes the problem. I did discover, however, that adding a summary block directly above it causes the second summary block to display correctly, while the one above it then has the problem. Does anyone know what's happening? I'd be so grateful for some help! Cheers
  3. Site URL: https://www.whoanelly.com.au/ Hello! I've searched but can't find a solution, hoping someone can help. I'm using a summary block to display recent blog articles on my home page. My issue is that the blog image is not displaying on mobile, only the title (& excerpt when I turn it on) can be seen. It works fine on my laptop/larger browser sizes. For the life of me I can't figure out why.. Any ideas? Thank you!
  4. I can't for the life of me figure out how to hide the active post in a summary block for blogs. So for instance, I want to feature a summary block showing "Related Posts," so I set it to the category of the current post, but the current post that the user is reading will still show up in the summary block. Is there a way to prevent that? There's no reason a user would want to click a link to the post they're already on, obviously. This is on the Nueva template, though I haven't seen the feature in any template I've used.
  5. Site URL: https://tarpon-hen-pfh9.squarespace.com/ Hi there! I am new to SQS and this forum, so apologies if I have not posted this question correctly. Does anyone know of a way (in custom css) to remove the site spacing on the sides of all Summary Blocks in 7.1? I am able to accomplish this by adjusting the Design>Site Styles>Site Spacing to 0 vw, but I only wish to have 0vw on *all Summary Blocks *only. Is there away to affect the site spacing of just the Summary blocks (all of them)? Thank so much in advance for any help,
  6. Site URL: https://celery-contrabass-2sra.squarespace.com/blog-summary I am working on a site where we are using summary blocks to create a grid template on two pages to highlight their blog and they would like to have an infinite scroll option. So, how can I set an infinite scroll to a summary block with the Brine template for 7.0? Is this possible?
  7. Site URL: https://www.sawyerliam.com/sawyertalks Just realized links on my summary block are blue and then a dark purple after clicking it. It only appears on this specific page. Any help on what to do to fix it?
  8. Site URL: http://www.kassidysherburne.squarespace.com I created a page with border boxes around each image item, and it's just a bit cumbersome to hand off to a client. I am hoping to find a way to recreate that but with a summary block, so that it will basically auto-populate. I have attached an image of what I have now and what I am basically hoping to achieve with a summary block. Does anyone know any code for this? I keep striking out. It would repeat on several pages also. If you need to access the website, you can see it at http://www.kassidysherburne.squarespace.com using password: hello. It's a brine template.
  9. Site URL: https://mandolin-banjo-jxep.squarespace.com/ I have several spots on my website where we are featuring small groups of events sorted by category, but I want to give them the option to skip the 'Event Detail' page, and directly register for the event (an external URL). Does anyone know if this can be done? I made a couple of quick mock-ups to show my intention. Thanks in advance!!!
  10. SqSp 7.1 β€” Summary Block I've added a few summary blocks to the home page of a site which are working as expected. However… β€’ The problem is that on tablets and smartphones the blocks run off the right side of the width of the site. And, even on desktop when the browser window is not super-extended. The blocks do not resize to stay within the page (full) margins. β€’ Does anyone have a quick CSS fix for this? I'm stuck at: .summary-block { width: 100%; <β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”I know this is wrong } β€’ And what happened to design settings for mobile? Do I have to write more CSS? Thanks.
  11. [update - I have managed to get it working (hooray) but for some reason, the thumbnail gets hidden... I have no idea why.] I'm trying to align all the "Read More" buttons/links in a summary bloack to sit at the bottom of the block. I've managed to use flex-box to make the summary blocks all the same size (why this isn't a feature by default I have no idea), and I'm trying to do something similar for the read more buttons but I can't get it to work. I think the below code is somewhat correct, but I can't figure out how to get it working. display: flex; flex: 1; flex-direction: column; justify-content: space-between; @beatrizc, I was following one of your blog posts about it, but I can't seem to get it working, perhaps you're able to help?
  12. Site URL: https://cello-lobster-4822.squarespace.com/config/design/custom-css I would like the dates listed in several summary blocks to be larger. They are the metadata size. How can I change the metadata size in just these particular summary blocks for events? Or even globally if I can't do the blocks individually. These are found in link above under the heading: "events by category."
  13. Site URL: http://taylorheery.com I have vertical images set as the featured images for my blog posts so that they will populate in my home page summary block correctly. They show up fine on the summary block on the home page, but on my PORTFOLIO page, where the actual blog lives, the images are cropping to horizontal and not staying vertical. Only the new posts are doing this, older posts are populating properly. I'd love to do a masonry summary on my homepage as well, but it has never correctly sized the images, just like the issue i'm having now on the portfolio page. I've tried remedies on both safari and chrome. I've deleted the summary and replaced it with no luck. I've deleted the featured images and reuploaded them. I've even deleted and replaced the blog posts themselves and that hasn't worked. What am I missing? The images in the attached screenshot should be vertical images and not cropped horizontal ones.
  14. Site URL: https://art.paulledron.com/ Hi everyone. I have tried I few codes here and there but I haven't succeeded hence this post. I want the summary blocks on my home page to only display 1 product at a time on mobile. At the moment it displays 4 on desktop and 2 on mobile. I am selling art posters and the thumbails don't really pay them tribute. Thank you in advance!
  15. Site URL: https://eagle-copper-brfp.squarespace.com/ For my blog posts, i'm using a three column summary block across both desktop and mobile to highlight 'related posts'. My issue is that the font appears way too big on mobile browsers. Is there a way to specify the font-size for summary blocks only within blog-posts? I'm saying this as I use them elsewhere on my homepage and also blog list page and they look good as is. Also - I'm using Lazy Summaries if that has any relevance. Thanks in advance! https://eagle-copper-brfp.squarespace.com/projects/binjiangclubhouse P: 22potatos
  16. Site URL: https://tmha-new-site.squarespace.com/ Trying to get the following areas (on the homepage only right now) to shrink down to two across when on mobile: TESTIMONIALS area. Maybe also max it at 4 testimonials on mobile if possible? PHOTO GALLERIES. There is 4 photos linking out to galleries. Can we make it so its 2x2 there? GLAM PERSONA. Again, make images 2x2? password: tamara
  17. Site URL: https://www.timothyschimick.com/ I am using the following code to adjust the look of the excerpt font in a blog summary block on the home page of a site. All of the elements are working except for the font size. Any ideas? .sqs-block-summary-v2 { .summary-excerpt { font-family: adobe jenson pro; font-weight: 600; font-size: 40px !important; color: #000; text-transform: ; font-style: italic; } } Thank you!
  18. Site URL: http://www.ericorr.squarespace.com/news I'm looking to shrink down the lightbox on this page when you click the image next to "Copenhagen Contemporary Light and Space Exhibition" so that it doesn't pop up full screen and having trouble getting the code to work for me. Simply adding padding or manipulating the width distorts the image or leaves it not centered. Is there a simple solution to this I'm overlooking Password is sitedraft
  19. Site URL: https://lobster-dahlia-4tl7.squarespace.com/config/settings/site-visibility I reached out and asked this last night and I got an answer! However, the code given only worked for one of the summary sections. It worked on the second summary block only and not the first. Is there anyway I can make both summary blocks have two columns on mobile instead of the bottom one only? And how can I prevent this from happening if I want to add more summary blocks? pass: thephizzydrink Thanks!!
  20. Site URL: https://jeffspeakes.squarespace.com How do you change type specs on Summary Blocks for Blog on version 7.1? I would like: Date: P2 Title: H3 Excerpt: P2 Read More Link: P2
  21. Hi guys, I need to build a job board on my squarespace site which advertises jobs from external sites. It's basically a list of links which should be filterable by pre-defined tags and categories. I would like to display it in a similar style like the blog post summaries. Main requirements: - Option to add individual categories and tags - Redirect to an external page link when people click on the ad - Option to filter the job ads - No item limit -> I tried using the squarespace blog and the universal filter to build a workaround but it has a 30 items limit and it's also a lot of effort to administrate. I've also checked out the job board plug in by elfsight but unfortunately it doesn't have a filter option and does not allow me to change the button text or category names. Do you have a suggestion for a good plug in that I could use?
  22. Site URL: https://theparkwaytheater.com/ I am trying to only show the event start time. I know the code to remove all of the time data is this ... .summary-metadata-item--event-time { display: none !important; } Anyone know if there is a way to only show the start time?
  23. Site URL: https://www.putonlovestory.com Hello, I was able to use custom CSS to make the summary block appear as Two columns on the mobile. However, I see that it skips a few rows and I would also like a "space" in between the column photos. Would you kindly help with these two? Thank you so so much,
  24. Site URL: https://www.nd-studios.co.uk/our-projects Hi there, I've got a site with a summary block on a projects page but for some reason on mobile, only 3 summary blocks appear. If you refresh the screen, all of them appear. It's working fine on desktop - just problematic on mobile. This is the page in question: https://www.nd-studios.co.uk/our-projects Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks! Jess
  25. I've tried every solution I could find here on the Circle forum, but none are working! page: https://theveil.squarespace.com/nfk (scroll down to "Upcoming Events" section) template: Royce I've got a Summary Block displaying Events, filtered by Category. When nothing matches the filter criteria, there is just a big black space on the page. I'd prefer it to automatically display text when the summary block is empty, like "There are no upcoming events at this location." Note: The Upcoming Events section on the page is actually a page (/nfk-events) nestled within an Index Collection (/nfk), in case it matters. Anyone have ideas / updates to the old solutions for this? (https://forum.squarespace.com/search/?&q=empty summary block&search_and_or=and&sortby=relevancy)
