  1. Hi everyone, Thanks in advanced for reading and helping! So I have a page that only contains a 'Summary - Wall' element and that is linked to a Gallery in order to show a bunch of images. (I realize this may not be the most straightforward way to do it, but gave us the flexibility we needed at the time). Each image has a Title, and that is the only text we want to show. By default this text hangs very low from the image it is referring to, so much so that it looks like it belongs to the image below it. I've been told I need to code this tweak, but am painfully stupid when it comes to this stuff. Any help is very much appreciated!
  2. Does anyone know how to make the background color of this summary block on this page extend the width of the device?
  3. Hi, I was wondering if there is any way to add a summary block (to show related blog content) AFTER the social icons on a blog post. I don't want to put it before because I believe the sharing CTA should be directly below the content to share, not way down the page.. My template is Pedro, from the Brine family Thank you,
  4. Hi all, I would like to add some extra content at the bottom of my blog page, like a summary block or a gallery But the Brine template, set on grid, doesn't let me add any type of content. All I see are my blog posts. Is there a way around this? Thanks,
  5. Hi, I was told by Squarespace Support that it is not possible to change the font size for Summary Blocks natively within Squarespace. Changing the text in the place of origin wouldn't work for changing the font size either. I need to make the body / bio font seen in the image block bigger using CSS only for this specific summary block without impacting the global or rest of the sites' style - will someone help me write the necessary CSS lines?
  6. Hi All, I'm trying to increase the number of displayed blog posts to over 30 using the Summary block. Am in developer mode but can't figure out which file to edit to allow it. Help!
  7. Hi all. I'm trying to get my gallery grid block to show two columns on mobile instead of stacking. I've used the CSS below to accomplish it but the grid is not aligning correctly on mobile wit the third item being bumped and white space in its place- screenshot attached (On tablet and desktop view it's also two columns wide but doesn't have the same issue). The page is here: https://ugly.wtf/new-page-1 I'm able to correct the problem using white-space: nowrap; but then my text obviously doesn't wrap as needed. Any help would be much appreciated. I'm very inexperienced with CSS. Thanks in advance, <style> @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) {.sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-item { clear: none !important; width: calc(100%/2)!important; padding: 2px !important; } } </style>
  8. Is it possible to embed a summary block TO an external website? There is lots of advice on accomplishing the opposite, but that's not what we're trying to accomplish. Here's some context: We use our Squarespace website to showcase new incoming merchandise for a thrift store we operate. We do this via Squarespace instead of our official web page because of how easy it makes this process. We have the Squarespace app installed on a tablet in our receiving area which allows staff members of any technology skill level to easily post photos. The process to post on our official web page would be too complicated for this to otherwise be possible. We then have a summary block pulling the uploaded gallery photos to an inventory page so customers can view the incoming items. The problem is we'd like to capture the traffic we already naturally generate to our official web site. Is there a way to embed the summary block FROM our Squarespace site TO our official web page, which is hosted through a different service? Ideally this would create the illusion of a seamless experience rather than risk confusing our customers with two different domains. I would also add if there isn't a way to do this natively through Squarespace is anyone aware of a third party tool that would accomplish this? Any help is much appreciated!
  9. How can I adjust the font size of the product price when they are listed in a summary block?
  10. I've tried every solution I could find here on the Circle forum, but none are working! page: https://theveil.squarespace.com/nfk (scroll down to "Upcoming Events" section) template: Royce I've got a Summary Block displaying Events, filtered by Category. When nothing matches the filter criteria, there is just a big black space on the page. I'd prefer it to automatically display text when the summary block is empty, like "There are no upcoming events at this location." Note: The Upcoming Events section on the page is actually a page (/nfk-events) nestled within an Index Collection (/nfk), in case it matters. Anyone have ideas / updates to the old solutions for this? (https://forum.squarespace.com/search/?&q=empty summary block&search_and_or=and&sortby=relevancy)
  11. I can't for the life of me figure out how to hide the active post in a summary block for blogs. So for instance, I want to feature a summary block showing "Related Posts," so I set it to the category of the current post, but the current post that the user is reading will still show up in the summary block. Is there a way to prevent that? There's no reason a user would want to click a link to the post they're already on, obviously. This is on the Nueva template, though I haven't seen the feature in any template I've used.
  12. —Brine template I would like to know if it is possible to disable the Lightbox in a summary box (from a gallery) and, if possible, how to do it. I would like that for images that have no link indicated, there was no cursor mousehover nor Lightbox, while for images that have the link, there was the mouseover and the link working. Thanks for the help
  13. I may be missing an easy fix, but I am looking to center a summary grid block so that when it adapts to larger screens, it doesn't leave awkward spacing on the right side. Any suggestions on code I can put in to simply center-align the block?
  14. How can I place the arrows on the summary carousel on the left and right sides of the block, and center the featured text? You can view what I have now under "what our clients are saying" here: https://capro-industries.squarespace.com/why-capro
  15. Based on this Q&A: Why don’t clickthroughs work in Wexley? – I learned that in order to use clickthroughs, you have to create a page and then use elements that feed from a gallery, such as the Gallery Grid Block. To maintain the nice grid/layout styling of the Wexley template, I tried the Summary Block Wall layout instead, which created a great mosaic grid with clickthroughs included. The problem now is – it only loads 30 pieces from a gallery at a time. Does anyone have any experience loading more than 30 or of another workaround that would make all of this possible? Could it possibly be done with some kind of code injection? Thanks in advance for your help!
  16. Hello, I'm using a Summary Block to build my website's team page. The problem is that the titles and images are clickable and I would like to remove this functionality. Is there a way I can make it display-only and remove the clickthrough links? Here is my site's Team Page for reference:http://www.rainfactory.com/team
  17. I love the new Summary Block. And I would like to use it to let a visitor browse through excerpts of my blogposts before they dive into the posts themselves - especially the carousel option is extremely suitable for that. Bummer: when you try to implement this feature the number of blogposts that you can show is limited to 30. Would anyone now if the 30-items-limit is overridable with some piece of code that could be injected somewhere? I know that if you use blog excerpts in the regular way, the number of posts to be displayed is unlimited. But the way in which you can display them is not. And with the new Summary Block you have so many nice options for customisation... I also understand that I could implement different Summary Blocks, one after the other, each set up to cover a different time period of a blog. But it would be so much better to a have one nice, clean carousel (for instance) to cover all the posts. And since the Summary Block is especially set up to deal with blogs (among others), one would expect to have an 'unlimited option' in the first place, no :-)...? Anyway: I don't know anything about code except how to copy and paste it, so if somebody would have a solution: a step by step guide for implementing it would be extremely welcome :-) :-)... Thanks a bunch in advance!
  18. I'd like to change the font size of the author name and categories in my summary blocks. I've already used the following CSS to change the font size of excerpt text: .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-excerpt p { font-size:16px !important} But I need something more for the metadata. Thanks!
