  1. Site URL: https://pufferfish-mauve-jkwn.squarespace.com/new-page-1 Hi! I want a summary list to be displayed with enlarged images and centered excerpt in mobile view. I've added some custom code and sometimes (especially in CSS edit mode) it looks like it's all perfect. But when I exit CSS edit mode and change to full screen the layout changes and the excerpt moves over to the left side. I've attached 2 screenshots so you can see both versions (left side: looking all good in edit mode // right side: shifting to the side in full screen). I used the following code: @media screen and (max-width:640px) { .sqs-gallery-design-list .sqs-gallery-design-list-slide:not(.no-image) .sqs-gallery-meta-container { width: 100% !important; } .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-block-setting-design-list .summary-thumbnail-outer-container { width: 100% !important; } .sqs-block-summary-v2 .summary-block-setting-text-size-medium .summary-title { margin-top: 20px; } } .summary-thumbnail-container{ padding-bottom:40px !important } .summary-excerpt{ padding-right:20px !important } .summary-thumbnail-container{ padding-left:20px !important } The problem occurs on all my devices (laptop, tablet, android phone) and on all the browsers that I've tried (Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox). So it must be the code but I can't figure it out. Anybody out there who can help me with that?? 🙂
  2. Site URL: https://www.vaseconstruction.com Hi! I just want to ask if anyone has a CSS code to turn the carousel summary block into stacked mode when viewed on mobile? Summary block looks fine on desktop view: But when switched to mobile it starts with a blank white area, and then slides into 4 thumbnails. Ideally, we wanted this stacked so it looks nice on a small screen. Thanks to anyone who can help.
  3. Site URL: https://www.lumenarius.com/blog I have been using the summary-block for showing a blog in a different way. However, I see that the limit is 30 posts... is there any custom coding way around this? Maybe an increase to 60? Or, I could make a work around but increasing the limit would be optimal. Thank you.
  4. I tried many attempts to have the previous and the next button straight. Currently the PREVIOUS button is above the NEXT button. I tried adjusting the line height to zero in site style but it's still not aligned. It would be greatly appreciated if anybody knows how to solve this and makes them straight. 5. Site URL: https://www.whatifthe.church/research Is there a way to add an audio clip to the testimonial slider in place of the button?
  6. Site URL: https://www.whiteboardjournal.com/ Can i create summary layout same as this site from Blog Post or Event? https://www.whiteboardjournal.com/
  7. Site URL: https://mandolin-banjo-jxep.squarespace.com/ I have several spots on my website where we are featuring small groups of events sorted by category, but I want to give them the option to skip the 'Event Detail' page, and directly register for the event (an external URL). Does anyone know if this can be done? I made a couple of quick mock-ups to show my intention. Thanks in advance!!!
  8. Site URL: https://www.dadaism.io/home#toppick Hi there, I'm new to the community, I couldn't find the answer to my problem so I'm seeking help here. I'm trying to make the "Our Topic Pick" carousel to display only 1 item when the screen is resized to mobile, but keep 3 items when it's not. Right now when I switch to mobile, it display 2 items, which is not the result I want.. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks in advance. Adam
  9. @tuanphan @bangank36 Hi guys, Wondering if either of you can help me figure out how to remove the margin under the last row of items in the summary block on this page: https://unravelyourphotos.squarespace.com/all-posts Password UYP2022 I think the gap is because of the spacing between each row of item, but I don't want to have the gap underneath the last row because it makes the space above the footer too big. I'm just not sure how to target that last row of items to remove the margin? Strangely enough, the gap does not appear in Safari. Only Chrome. (Not sure about other browsers.) (Sorry for all my questions over the last 48 hours! I think this might be one of my last ones...) Thanks, Rhonda
  10. Site URL: https://howisland.com/how-to-get-pub-tv/ Hello I am facing some problem with this URL: https://howisland.com/how-to-get-pub-tv/ I'm looking for a way to make the entire summary block item link to the original blog post. At the moment, only the title is linked, but I'd like to be able to link to the blog post by clicking anywhere in the box.
  11. Site URL: https://designbycaitie.ca/blog/template Hey there, I'm trying to make ONE of my summary blocks (not all of them!) show up as a two-column grid on mobile view. I'm creating a blog post template to reuse indefinitely, so I don't want to use any specific block IDs that I'll have to change for every new post. I've spent hours looking for a solution to no avail. This piece of code almost worked: https://www.rebeccagracedesigns.com/blog/summary-two-columns-mobile#:~:text=The following code is used in the video. It achieved the two-column effect for my GRID summary, but it messed up my CAROUSEL summary directly above it by displaying ALL the summary blog posts as a grid, rather than two at a time in a carousel. Can someone PLEASE provide a simple code for this? Would really appreciate it!
  12. Site URL: https://www.designbycaitie.ca I have blog post summary blocks on my main home page and within every blog post. The excerpts are fine on desktop but are too long and unwieldy on mobile. I haven't been able to find any code that disables/removes the excerpt from mobile view only. Does anyone know how to do this?
  13. Site URL: https://dodecahedron-cone-9b2h.squarespace.com/home-1 Hi @tuanphan, I see you have helped many folks on the forums so I thought I'd inquire with you first! Other experts, please feel free to reply! I have multiple summary blocks on a page, and for one of them I would like to move the Title above the image. See attached screenshot. Is this possible? I'd also like to increase the text of the Title after I move it. I just want the one summary block to stand out a bit more than the other. Sort of like a magazine or newspaper would. I've been trying at length to target the specific summary block I want to change, but have had no luck at all. Any assistance, be it with CSS code, would be great and really appreciated. Brett
  14. I need to be able to create articles in a more dynamic format than blog posts allow (full width images, differing column widths etc.). As such, I need to create those articles using normal pages as opposed to blog posts, however then I can't use summary blocks to create an index / menu presentation of those pages (other than manually building an index using image blocks). I will be adding articles very regularly, so adding them manually to a manually created summary page isn't an option. Does anyone have a workaround they have successfully used - to effectively create a summary block using pages as opposed to blog posts? Thanks!
  15. Site URL: https://www.pollylava.com/ Having trouble figuring out 1) why the color choices for my Quick View button is not reflecting on the site, and 2) how to get rid of the white background in Quick View Mode. 1) Quick View button color choice not reflecting on the site On the home page of this site, the second section is "New Arrivals". There's a summary block sitting on top of an "Art Background". It was designed before Fluid Engine was released and would prefer to keep this since it matches the branding perfectly. The color assigned to the "Products: Quick View Button" is a sand color but the color showing up on the site is the pink. Am I looking in the wrong place? The button font and color was changed by custom coding. 2) Changing the background in Quick View Mode As you can see in the images attached, the "Products: Quick View Lightbox - Overlay Color" is also selected as the sand color but it is showing up as white. I've managed to code in the pop up background, rounded corners, and description font. Ideally, I'd like the background to be opaque, or the solid sand color. I'd also like to change the font of the button to be Europa Password for this site is KHL55 Thank you in advance!!
  16. Is there a way to customise summary blocks to display the text of comments on a blog in a summary block? Trying to create a memorial site where visitors can leave tributes, so I would like to display the latest tribute comments in a summary block on the home page.
  17. Site URL: https://plum-trout-c8tl.squarespace.com/ Heyo, I want to change the color of the meta data in the summary block. I have tried some code but it still has a certain overlay over it. No matter what color I try it always has this sort of overlay. I have already tried: #block-e1205ce284e2c1e398bb .summary-metadata * { font-family: 'albertsanssemibold'; font-size: 1.1rem; color: black !important; } but it is not working as you can see (Metadata is above): I would like it to be just full on black, #000000 Would appreciate any kind of help. Thanks in advance! Sitepw: j6&1!eA
  18. Site URL: https://www.clickeng.com/ Hi all. I've added a summary block containing a carousel of our recent blog posts on our home page. It looks great, but the "Read More" links aren't working. Is there something I'm missing?
  19. Site URL: https://www.brendawellness.com/home-2 Hi! I'm customizing summary blocks but I'm having one last problem. I have the following design, it is exactly what I wanted but the title gets cut at the top. Is there anything I could do so it is visible on top of the border? This is my code .summary-block-wrapper { border: 3px solid #86d0cb; } .summary-item { pointer-events : none; } .summary-thumbnail-outer-container { max-width: 50%; margin: 0 auto; margin-top: 35px!important; } .summary-thumbnail-outer-container img { width: 100% !important; height: auto !important; left: 0 !important; top: 0 !important; } .summary-content { margin-top: 25px!important; margin-bottom: 50px!important; p{ font-size: 18px!important; } } .summary-title { width: 20%; position: absolute; top: -12%; left: 40%; background: #86d0cb; border-radius: 8px; padding: 8px; }
  20. Is it possible to add an 'Older Posts' button for the summary block? I think the max posts for a summary block is 30 but that's way too long. I'd prefer it to be 6 posts.
  21. Site URL: https://www.robertvankoesveld.com/reviews3 I have been testing out different blocks for testimonials on this page… The summary-block drawing from a testimonials blog gives the client the most control over updating and formatting, so that's their preferred method. Unfortunately the Excerpt content from the blog posts isn't displaying in the Summary block. I can get the Title to show though – but don't actually want this. Any clues hmmm? Thanks
  22. Site URL: http://faceoflove.co I applied a code to add a border around the images in my summary blocks. I did need this code to affect the majority of the summary block photos with the exception of 2 blocks. Is it possible to target specific summary blocks with this code so it does not apply to the 2 summary blocks where the border around the photos is not needed. this is the code that I used: .sqs-block-summary-v2 .img-wrapper, .sqs-block-summary-v2 .sqs-video-wrapper {border: 1px solid #E1D8D1;}
  23. Site URL: https://recorder-jaguar-6lxy.squarespace.com/ I am building a website for an independent letting agent, and have built in a filter to filter the properties available by feature (dog friendly, swimming pool etc). I am using a summary block for the filter. Once you've used the filter, and click on a summary item, ideally the user should be directed out to Guesty Bookings where they can book their stay at the property. Otherwise they'll have to be directed to another page within the site to then click a button to then take them to Guesty Bookings which adds more steps than necessary. Does anyone know how I can direct users to external website when clicking on a summary item?
  24. Site URL: https://www.tlastmarks.com/pre-k Password: Devon Hi! I'm looking to force 5 per row on mobile in the summary block in the footer of this website with CSS. Hope you can help! @tuanphan @creedon @bangank36
  25. Site URL: https://brass-pelican-ws38.squarespace.com Hi, I'm looking for a way to display a message when there are no workshops available. I'd like this for both the events page and the events summary block. Thanks,
