display blog post content (audio player) in summary block

I've set up a squarespace site for a customer that has a Podcast. In the first iteration I just added the audio blocks directly on the home page but for SEO and because the customer wants to support rss feeds I had to create a blog on /episodes where the customer adds new episodes as blog posts.

In order to display the episodes on the home page I use a summary block but I can't find a way to display the audio player directly on the home page. How can this be achieved?

Having users click on the link to navigate to the blog post detail page is not an option. 

I am very disappointed that even though there are multiple posts in this forum about this missing functionality, still nobody from the squarespace team has provided a solution to any of the people having this issue.

Also I can't believe that squarespace pours millions in advertising but fails to deliver the most basic functionalities that the community is asking for
