Is there a way to choose a blog publication date on the past without clicking 1000 times?

Hello, sometimes I need to add past news or older blog posts but the date picker doesn't allow to enter the date. You have to click thousand times to arrive to a desired date, for example: October 1985.

No. It’s a terrible user experience that I’ve discussed with Squarespace many times, but they aren’t interested in fixing it.

See this workaround provided by @creedon: Blog Post Date Past Go To. It's a bookmarklet that allows you to type a date.
