Split screen in blog post

Hi there,

I'm trying to figure out how to make a split screen layout for blog posts. Something like this: https://battles-ice-cream.superhi.com/

The website I'm working on: https://keyboard-jaguar-k52z.squarespace.com/blog/mashed-potatoes-with-mushrooms-and-brussels-sprout-l72jy

Password: tpt-2021

I would like to make it in a way that adding new posts with the same layout will be easy for someone who doesn't code.

Thanks!

Hi @tuanphan , I think it will work well even if not full width. Could you share the code with me?

Thanks!

You mean: Section with left is image, right is text?

You can add a blank section >> add background image >> then add 2 columns: left is spacer, right is text. Then let me know. We will give the code & then you can repeat it for future cases.

Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.). Answer within 24 hours.

Hi @tuanphan,

I divided the blog post content into two columns but I couldn't manage to set sticky sections. I would like the block of images of every section to be sticky at the top (so they don't move while the text scrolls down) and when you get to the following section (text on the left and image on the right) it repeats the same behaviour.

I hope my explanation it's not too confusing! (links same as before)

Thanks 🙂
