scholarsayze Posted March 3, 2021 Share Posted March 3, 2021 Site URL: https://bluebird-porcupine-yzdg.squarespace.com/home I have a couple of questions regarding connecting my sitemap and analytics: 1 - I am trying to upload my sitemap to Bing Webmaster Tools and as attached, I have a few options. It's requesting that I download the XML file and upload it to the 'root directory' of my site. I have downloaded the file but don't really understand where to upload this file please help! 2 - I am also trying to add the 'Global Site Tag' to my site, do I add this to each page I have under Settings / Advanced / Code Injection / Header? scholarsayze Posted March 3, 2021 Author Share Posted March 3, 2021 Apologies, I believe for the first query verifying my site with Bing, I am meant to copy and paste the code provided and paste in "the <head> section, before the first <body> section". Is this pasted into Page Settings / Advanced / Page Header Code Injection or... Settings / Advanced / Code Injection Header? Many thanks. Link to comment

scholarsayze Posted March 8, 2021 Author Share Posted March 8, 2021 Whoops! I already posted this into the Settings / Advanced / Code Injection / Header! It seemed to verify ok with Bing. Would it break anything if I move that code to the Footer? Or should I leave it where is is? Thank you! Link to comment
