Trying to hide a background video when displayed on a mobile

I uploaded a background video but when i view it on mobile, the video crops out.  Im looking for a way to fix the crop OR a way to hide/disable the background video on mobile.  Thank you so much

If hide the video is your choice, this may help

Also does anyone know how to disable the mobile fallback image on desktop? (It appears for a quick second before the video plays.

I would also love to know how to disable the fallback image on desktop (this site is still in 7.0) ! The image shows for just a second, but it's so different from the video that it looks glitchy. For now I've just removed the fallback image, but then I'm stuck with a big gap where the video should be on mobile. I'd rather not choose between the two. Any advice is much appreciated!
