birdmanjenkins
I am setting up an online store for my site. I am a small, subscription-based service. When I add a product and change it to a subscription product the ability to change inventory goes away. I want to limit the number of subscriptions coming in so I do not get overwhelmed. How do I set the number of subscriptions I am able to fulfill? Link to comment
Caws
I have the same issue. We about to start a marketing campaign, but i need to limit the number of subscriptions that we can offer. Has any one got any ideas? Link to comment
watts-creative
It appears this question was never answered. I have a client who wants to only offer 8 subscriptions for a particular product. Once those 8 subscriptions have been purchased, the product should say Sold Out. But there isn't a way to choose quantity for Subscription products. Or is there something I've missed? Or a suggested workaround? Thanks. Link to comment

As subscriptions automatically recur, it is not possible to limit the inventory. You can only do this with non-subscription products. It is also not possible to limit the number of active subscriptions, except by manually hiding a product from sale. This will prevent further subscriptions from being purchased without affecting existing subscriptions. Did this help? watts-creative
Seems like a useful feature for smaller businesses who, like my client, offer a limited number of bespoke kits that she puts together every month (doesn't have the bandwidth/resources for more than 8 kits). She'll just need to track it manually...and take down the item once she's reached the maximum. Anyway, thanks @paul2009. paul2009 1 Link to comment
