Blog Title Won't Let Me Edit

Hi there!

I've created many blogs in the past with no issue.

However, today I tried to make a blog post and the "Enter a post title..." section for the Blog Title will not allow me to change it.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I tried using a different web browser (I'm using FireFox and tried Chrome, still no result.)

I went to edit my previous blog posts to see if their titles can change, and they can! It's only when I try to make a new post that I cannot edit it.

Any advice is helpful,

Having the same issue. I assume it's something simple, but I am not able to edit the blog post title in 7.1

Just figured it out, click on the italicized Post - Draft at the top of the editing window. Shout out to Squarespace admins, please make this clearer in documentation.

Having the same issue and never had it before: can't add a title to a blog post. Anyone have advice on how to fix? I've tried clearing my browsers cache and contacted support twice. No dice.

Problem fixed! Turns out, because I was using my laptop, the cursor wasn't showing up in the title field but I was able to edit all along. Thanks so much to Squarespace support for identifying the issue!

I'm still having this issue on desktop - however I've found if I download the Squarespace app onto my phone, it has the ability to change the blog post title on there.

Bit of a long-winded method but just incase anyone else is still having issues!

Yesterday 2 members on forum contacted me. They have similar problem.

Problem is here, some custom code conflict with blog title in Editing Mode. I send them a CSS to override it.

Hi, I know I'm necroing this thread, but if you have this CSS code that would be great. Apparently this is still an issue. Thanks!
