heylauramae
I am trying to create a portfolio site..(Im using Avenue) I will have multiple galleries of different projects in an index page. I would like to be able to have links to filter the portfolio content. I know I can create Catergories for images within a gallery, and filter within that gallery... is there a way to filter across multiple galleries? I.e. I'd like to have categories like Branding | Website Design | Infographic Design | Marketing Collateral and then when say Infographic Design is clicked upon, only galleries that have an image with the Category Infographic Design will show up. Similar to what http://thefalconlab.com/ does. Link to comment

My original post said: You can filter by tags and categories using links, but some use cases are easier to achieve than others. For example: You can filter by a category and a tag, showing only results that meet BOTH requirements (those that are of the category AND of the tag). You cannot filter by multiple categories, showing ONLY those that meet ALL the categories. You cannot filter by multiple tags, showing ONLY those that meet ALL the tags. There's a plugin available that makes this much easier: Universal Filter. About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Circle Leader since 2017. I value honesty, transparency, diversity and good design ♥.
