Does Squarespace have an Events collection?

By events, do you mean like a calendar for upcoming events? If so, then you could create a new blog/collection, and utilise the Published field as the date/time of the event. I've just checked and future dates/times work fine.

There is an Upcoming Events listing view AND a Calendar view! Yippee, no more Google Calendar!
